I need to connect resistors to these LEDs (bright white and blue LEDs) . Please tell me the current and voltage consumption so that I can calculate the resistor value I will need to attach to these LEDs..

The supply will be 12v 2A. (if possible, suggest the required resistor values)

I am making a wired remote control car. I will use two DPDT switches for remote and four 2kg torque 300 rpm motors for the car. I will provide a 12v 2A supply for the setup. I want to connect 16 LEDs to the car. The left side of the car (left 2 motors) will have 8 LEDs and right will have 8 LEDs. I want to set it up in such a way that when the left side motors go forward the left 8 LEDs should glow. (same for right). Please tell me whether I should attach the LEDs in serial or parallel and what should be the value of the resistor which I should attach to the LEDs. Also tell me whether I should attach one resistor for the left side and one for the right side or I need to attach one resistor to each of the 16 LEDs. Thank you.

from whatever informartion i've gathered from the internet, to connect it at home, i can use a computer power supply i.e. an SMPS. i do have an extra smps but for 12v output it says 17A. but i believe that car amps will draw current between 0-30 amps. so if I connect this smps to the amp, will it be harmful?

OR there is another 5V output on smps which says 32 A. If 17 A current provided by 12v output is not sufficient or damaging in any way to the amp or smps, can i also make use of the 5v output coz it provides 32A current. Is there any way to use that current i.e. 32A but keeping the voltage at not more than 12-13 volts. If yes, how? Is it safe?
