Will the sharks v. avalanche game be on TV on the east coast tonight?
The NHL website says joined in progress and it looks like the Phoenix/Detroit game is getting priority on Versus. Is there any way to watch the whole San Jose Sharks game on the east coast? Do bars get both games simultaneously?

Even Tim Cowlishaw of the Dallas Morning News admits, that most of the Pro Bowlers they had last year were due to crazy bandwagon voting. The deserving members were Romo, Witten, T.O., and Ware. The some were borderline, and some were downright laughable (roy williams???)
I think that them actually believing they are pro bowlers will lead to overconfidence and a rude awaking this year. The further that team gets from Parcells and the more "Jerry Jones" it gets, watch them struggle.

Batting .339, 11 extra base hits, including 4 homeruns. He was 4-4 today and pitched 6.1 innings of an 8-0 shutout! Unbelievable, because it was a MUST WIN, for the Diamondbacks to hold onto their lead in the NL West!

Joe Namath is in the hall of fame despite his mediocre stats (the 173 TDs to 220 INTs especially stands out) Many say he made the hall based on his one historic win (Super Bowl III, first AFC, formerly AFL team to win the super bowl).
Doug Williams, though he played fewer games has comparable stats. Should he be in the hall based on his one historic win (Super Bowl XVII, first black QB to win the super bowl)? Or should Joe Namath not be there?

Why is it that when people mention the good conferences they only mention, SEC, Pac-10, Big Ten, and Big 12. What about the ACC? Top 25 last few years you've always seen, VA Tech, Boston College, Miami (usually), George Tech, Clemson, Wake, FLA State (can't be down forever). I see a lot better teams top to bottom in that conference than any other conference except the SEC. Big Ten has 2 or 3 teams total (Mich, OSU, and Wisc). Big 12, same thing pretty much, what? (texas and Okla). Pac-10 (still waiting to see someone besides USC do something, nice try Oregon). Big East sucks, (WVU's schedule is embarrassing). Thoughts?

Bonds hit no. 756, rounded the bases, and came to home where he pointed at the sky to, I assume, God and his Dad. Meanwhile, his son who was waiting at home plate tries to hug his dad. After pointing up, Bonds brushes off his son and starts hugging his teamates. I know you love your dad Barry, but he's dead, and you ARE a DAD, so be an effing DAD.

The Tim Donaghy ref scandal is just the beginning I think. I think Stern is in on this, or at least has mismanaged the league for too long. He did fine in the 80s but now he thinks he's bigger than the game and will do nothing to fix it, and now it's too late.
