If you put on a class mod, does it still add to the skills that you completely beefed up already?

I.e. If spark is already lvl 5, and I have a class mod that adds +2 to my spark skill, does it still upgrade it to 7, or would I have to stop spark at lvl 3 so I can get the full benefit of this mod?

My friend told me that it is possible to record speaker output using audacity without a mic. I have been trying to record the text to speech translations so I could possibly use them in a video of mine. I don't have any good mics so I want a way to record the translations without them being totally scratchy.

It was a kid's movie about these two children who wish these frozen dinosaurs back to life, with the help of the antagonist- an old creepy man with a screw for an eye. He gives them a magic contract and the children sign it by pricking their finger and sighing their name in blood. At the end of the movie, after the old guy's plot has been ruined, he gets eaten ( or so seems to be indicated) completely by this flock of birds, but only his screw eye is left behind.

I am writing a fantasy novel. In the story, there are creatures that look a lot like raptors, but aren't. I am having extreme trouble in trying to come up with a good name for their species. It needs to be short and catchy. (Don't say tang, for those Pendragon fans out there.)

I love quake 3. I was playing it recently, and I was wondering how i could get some of the sounds from the game. I tried looking in its program folders, but I couldn't find any of the sounds. Most of all, I really want that cool laugh.

I started taking this tutorial online about how to make my own l4d map using the l4d authoring tools. Everything was fine up until I created some trees. When I tested the map like the tutorial shows, the trees did not appear in-game. In the hammer editor, it shows the trees surrounded by a yellow box. Is this the reason why they don't appear?

I recently got the first Left 4 Dead and after a couple of single player campaigns, I decided to play online. The server that I went on to had a few mods, none of which I wanted to play with. I quit the server, and ever since, in single player when i kill a normal zombie it turns to red mist, as if I tore it to shreds. It doesn't do this on other multiplayer servers, however. It seems that the only two cures are to only play online or reinstall the game. Does anyone know of any other options?

I had played the demo of it a while ago and had wanted to play the actual game all the way through. I downloaded the game off of Steam recently, but it won't work. I try starting up the game, but it crashes immediately before anything happens. The demo works fine on my Vista OS and I had heard that Hexen 2 works if you buy it off steam. So now I'm confused and there are no guidelines or solutions on google or ask.com. Can anyone help me?

When my brother and I try to play nazi zombies together, we can only play a Lan game (we have it for the pc). When we both try to play an online co-op together, it won't let us. If he hosts an online co-op, it won't come up on the list. If he invites me, I accept, but it stops and says "searching for available games..." The same thing happens if we both try to join the same server, it will only work for the one who joins first. Don't get me wrong, co-op online works fine, if we don't play together. Lan works fine if we play together, but we're getting bored of just playing with 2 people.

Any suggestions as to how to fix this problem?

It has to be a female name. Not too unusual, but not too common either. She's white, and the story takes place in a somewhat medieval time period. She has brown hair and blue eyes and has the personality of a warrior princess. She is also young, 12- 14 years old.

I heard that you can play Game Cube games on the wii using the classic controller. Our wii is not set up in a place where you can easily use a game cube controller with the wii. Also, my controllers are breaking anyway, so I was hoping it would work.
