I am a very conservative Christian father of two wonderful young ladies. Although I am a registered Republican, I do agree with libertarians on a few issues, I can take a joke, both aimed at myself, and political affiliation related. If someone is offended at something I, or anyone else says....tough, get over it. The offendee is the one that has the problem, and I refuse to let someone else have that kind of power over me. Capitalism, and free markets are God's gifts to humanity. Liberals fall into two classes. 1)Those who want to micro-manage everyones lives. 2) Those who are dumb enough to let #1 have their way. Universal health care, health care reform, single payer healthcare et al , are evil, and will only reduce the quality of health care in the U.S. Abortion is a personal matter, that the federal government has no reason to meddle. I don't own a gun, but I am a firm believer in the saying, and the book "More Guns Equals Less Crime" Any questions? well ask me then!
When did the definition of fascism change?
In high school, and in college in the early '80's, the definition was different then than it seems to be now. The definition then was: Fascism is an economic system that allows private ownership of property, but the government controls all use of that property. I was also taught that fascism was only viable under two forms of government, a socialist government(Nazi Germany under Hitler) and dictatorships (Iraq under Saddam). These were two of the examples that I was taught.
I am not sure I understand "todays" definition, which seems to be conservatism.
