I'll put them in age groups to make it easier.

Over 60- I say Gene Hackman, Morgan Freeman, Clint Eastwood, Harrison Ford and Ben Kingsley

Over 50- Tom Hanks, Daniel Day Lewis, Denzel Washington and Viggo Mortensen

Under 50- Christian Bale, Jude Law, Johnny Depp, Sean Penn, Russell Crowe, Eric Bana, Daniel Craig, Liev Shrieber, Robert Downey Jr.

Just my opinion, what say you???

Who are some the most underrated actors working today, IYO??

Mine would be:

Sam Elliot, awesome in Gettysburg, carried Swayze in Roadhouse, carried the cast in Tombstone, upstaged Mel Gibson in We were Soldiers.

Will Patton, outperformed Denzel in Remember the Titans, amazing in The Postman(yes I like the Postman, its a great movie for the post apocalyptic genre!!)

Scott Glenn--- Urban Cowboy, The Right Stuff, Hunt for Red October, Silence of the Lambs, Need I go on!!

Tom Wilkinson, outstanding in The Full Monty, upstaged Gibson and Ledger in The Patriot, and his Ben Franklin in The John Adams miniseries was amazing.

Gary Oldman, can play it all, good guy, bad guy, you name it, Oswald in JFK, Dracula, terrorist in Air Force One, The Fifth Element was just WEIRD, but he carried that film as well. And of course, Sirius Black in the Potter movies.

This is my list, just my opinion. No right or wrong to your answers, What say you???????
