I don't have insurance, so I was looking for ideas for what to have my doctor test. I am 26 years old and have frequent joint pain, usually in my hips, hands, and wrists. I also have had IBS for a good 6 or 7 years. The last few days, the pain has been in pretty much all of my joints except for my spine. It is so intense it caused me to scream for a while yesterday. Vicodin and ibuprofen used together helped a little, but the pain is not going away. It causes my muscles (especially calves) to cramp. Going out in the cold actually seems to lessen the pain. No fever. I'm not looking for a diagnosis, obviously, just some ideas as to what could be going on.
