  • What do you tell a 5 year old?

    My 5 year old son said to me the other day "Anyways, how are babies made. How do they get in your stomach." I knew this day would eventually come and have been dreading it. I was lost for words and didn't know what to say, so I said "I'm not sure, but I'll find out." Well, he hasn't asked again, but I know it's coming soon. What do I say? I don't want to confuse him by telling him something off the wall, but I also don't want to be so blunt that he knows all about the birds and the bees at his age. Any suggestions and please, if you can't be serious, don't answer.
