Reading about this is truly FRIGHTENING! People want to wear these things that have a camera like device built in sending all your visual information to G oogle?

we can't really solve it the way things are now. There are some really bad results pending any action by the Republicans to cut more programs but also very bad results if nothing is done.

Was thinking about buying a Boxee to get local TV stations ( it has a digital antenna) and read that there is no point really- the FCC passed new laws that the Cable Giants can now scramble even local stations like they do premium stuff like HBO etc!

It also says all consumers will need to buy a box from the companies for their TV's - no more putting the cable wire directly into the back of your TV. This will phase in the next 2 years.I think this sucks really bad for old people who can NOT afford ever increasing cable bills and if there was a Nuclear disaster or something they will probably not find out until it is too late! Do they even bother to do those monthly tests anymore- Ya know in the event of an emergency? I know many more people who will never have TV again and some who already don't from when they made the switch from analog!

How soon until we have to buy a box to de-scramble radio stations? GREED SUCKS!

When Romney gets in - he plans to cut all that so that the Rich can only get the tax cuts . The only way to pay for his plan is to eliminate things like deductions and child tax credits.Many small businesses rely on these poor people( who live paycheck to paycheck) to spend their checks ( often 1 to 4 thousand dollars) on things like appliances or cars.
