  • On The Spot Business Cards?

    Hi there,

Does anyone have any suggestions where I can buy business cards on the spot (besides a home printer)? Unfortunately, I waited until the last minute and do not have the time to purchase them via vista print and other sites. Thanks!

  • House of Night, P.C. Cast?

What do you guys think of the "House of Night" series for someone who's looking for a more adult vampire novel (I'm 20). I like twilight, don't love it, but I love the Sookie Stackhouse novels and I recently finished the vampire academy, which I surprisingly liked. I work at a bookstore so I know that there is whole slew of adult scifi books, but these are so popular I thought I would give them a shot. Thoughts??

  • Anxiously awaiting Dead and Gone?

Is anyone else anxiously awaiting the release of the 9th Southern Mysteries Book (aka Sookie Stackhouse series) "Dead and Gone"? I literally cannot wait. And I just got into the books back in March and haven't been waiting long for the new release. I have like a million finals that day but I'll be at Borders when they open.

These books are also what the tv series "True Blood" is based upon. Can't wait till May 5th! :)

  • Looking for a GPS for beginner?

I'm looking into buying a simple and accurate GPS system. I don't travel much but I have no sense of direction and have many internships coming up for my school. Mapquest/Google/Yahoo are usually inaccurate and it's tough to try to read street signs when you're in an unfamiliar place. I'm looking for a system that isn't too costly (less than $200) because I don't travel too much and something that isn't too confusing. Any suggestions would be a great help! Thanks :)

  • Book based off new film Australia?

Does anyone know if the film "Australia" (starring Hugh Jackman and Nicole Kidman) was based off a novel? I thought I heard it was, but can not find any information about it.

  • How to display signed books

Does anyone have any good ideas for what I should put my signed books in to display the signatures? I've looked in both Borders and B&N but the closest thing I have been able to find is a cookbook holder that has a plastic cover so food doesn't splatter on the book. I think that may be able to work...

  • Pride and Prejudice chapt 56?

So I was re-reading Pride and Prejudice last night and came across one of my favorite parts of the book - when Lady Catherine de Bourgh confronts Elizabeth about the engagement rumors. Who told Lady Catherine about the rumors? I don't remember her saying who exactly told her. I always figured it Mr. Collins.. but then how did Mr. Collins figure it out, especially when Elizabeth didn't tell anyone about the first proposal at first?

It's not really important but it was annoying me.

  • Thorn Birds?

So I just finished this book and it was amazing! I think this might be my favorite romance novel i've ever read. After finishing the books, I immediately went to the library to watch the mini-series. Richard Chamberlain wasn't exactly how I pictured Ralph, but I thought it stayed pretty true to the book. What did you guys think of "The Thorn Birds"?

  • Teacher or Guidance Counselor?

I'm currently a sophomore in Secondary English Education (5-12). I've always had teaching in mind but last year I started thinking about becoming a high school guidance counselor. I know the two are completely different, but I'm really torn. Do you have any experience between the two or salary comparisons that could help me figure this dilemma out?
