Today s been a weird day for me and I ve asked a couple people if their day is been any different to my surprise their day has been just the same. it might sound paranormal or insane but I have asked various people today if their day has been weird or odd in some sort of fashion out of curiousity, since the few i asked before agreed with me. I work at a convenience store so I get to talk to a lot of people its just weird how so many of them have said that their day has been odd or off this day I m in particular.

I woke up this morning and felt a terrifying pressence, but didnt see anything. I could see my room, but ofcourse my lights were all off. I dont know how to exactly explain it, but it felt like something was trying to overcome my consciousness. Like something evil was trying to take over me. My gosh i sound like a nut hahaha. Anyways, the weirdest thing was that i couldnt move my body or speak at all. I strained my arm to move, but it felt like i had the heaviest bag of sand on it, because i just couldnt move it mo matter what. I tried speakingbout, but couldnt. I stayed that way for about 10 seconds. Cant really remember what happened, but i guess i fell back asleep. When i came back to, everything was normal. What the hell happened?

I ve lived with my mom, sister, brother-in-law, and their five kids for three years now. I finished highschool in 2014 and have just been working fulltime since then. My dad (parents are divorced) has offered for me to live in a very large shed that was previously used by a kin of ours as a small home behind my dad s house. She is moving out soon (kin that was living there) for a bigger house. Since I ve lived with everyone for 3 years now i feel like i owe them for the hospitality. Dont get me wrong, i paid our internet and 200 dollars in cash as rent for the past half year as to hold up my end, but between the two and a half years I ve lived here rent free and my mom and nephews, i kind of feel like I m just abandoning them. Honestly i love the idea of having my own small home with no kids. I mentioned it vaguely to my mom and sister, but they were displeased with the idea. Am i being unfair for wanting to do this or what? I mean i help out as much as i can. When they need help with a house project or cleaning I m all hands.

At the moment i am typing this from my phone. My desktop computer that i assembled (and has been working flawlessly for the past 3 months) is not working correctly. Before i left for work i shut the computer down from the windows start menu. When i returned home later and tried to turn it on, the light on the front of my tower comes on (along with the power button light) and it sounds like it usually does when i turn it back on. However, none of the fans work within the case (this includes my cpu fan and graphics card fan). My system fans have led lights built with them, but they are not on. So obviously (from what i can tell) nothing is getting any power, save the case lights and i guess disc drive. I can also open my dvd/cd drive. I'm thinking this is probably a power supply or motherboard problem. However, I still don't have too much experience with this, so i thought i would ask for assistance.

EDIT: Not even thirty seconds after posting this, my desktop tower completely turned on. This includes all fans that were previously off. Leds are on aswell. Still no response from my monitor, mouse, or keyboard (both mouse and keyboard have built in light).

Im in the process of making a computer, what games can you list that these specs will run?

Anyways, I just want to know which would be the best for gaming. When I say gaming, I'd be playing mostly the games: Counter Strike: Global Offensive, Rome: Total War 2, The Stomping Lands, and Skyrim. The graphics do NOT have to be ultra high. I just want a computer that could run these games. I also do NOT want to build a computer at the moment, I do not have the time at this present time nor would I have the patience to do so, I just want to buy a pre-built computer, even if it is cheaper to build one.

Other recommendations are very welcome too. Just incase it is important, my budget would have to be between 400~700 dollars. I may even wait until a sale comes around for said computer to purchase it.

My mom has had this cockatiel bird for as long as I can remember, I'm eighteen by the way. Anyways, the bird is very territorial about its cage and every time my mother or I open the cage gate she sort of 'hisses' and kind of takes a warning stance like she is about to bite you. We ignore her while she is doing this and replace her food and water. We have two cages which we switch her in between to clean the cages. I've tried getting her out of her cage just because I thought she might like it, but she just kept in the back of her cage while the door was open. The bird is in the cage literally all the time. I've tried building a bond with her, we whistle back and forth to each other while I sit in a chair across from her cage, but it's always the same after a week or so when I open the cage gate and she gets territorial. Also, just if it give you more of an insight, we don't go as fast as we can to change her water and food, we take it slow and easy to try and keep her calm. We're aware of how to take care of animals the right way, but we're not ignorant enough to proclaim that we know everything about the health and minds of them. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I just want this little guy to be happy and feel welcome with us.

I'm a very new beginner at programming. Started about two or three days ago just watching a vid or two online to learn the very basics of c++. I wrote out a very simple 7 problem mathematics quiz in c++ using code::blocks in about 40 minutes (DON'T FORGET I'M NEW, haha). I was just curious about how when I built and ran the project it gave me 98 when I put in 100/7*7, which would normally give me 100. I also wanted some feedback as to whether or not everything looked ok with my coding. Is there anything that I could do that could make things easier or faster? Also, just for future purposes, is computer programming a good field to get into? What are some of the best tutorials for beginners such as myself that you've seen or heard about?

I left my laptop for a little while and when I came back there was a small window on my screen that has a prompt at the top which says "Windows has detected hacking activities on your Computer. Please enter the code below to continue."

I still have it up on my computer. I haven't typed in the "code" that it is ,talking about, because it seems a little fishy to me. Is this legit or am I just being paranoid? ...And what should I do about this!? Thanks for any quick answers!

Today in class we had a substitute teacher who went through a lab using the computer. The lab was really simplistic and had a light bulb lighting up when a magnet was passed back and forth through a coil that was connected to the light bulb. I'm just curious and was wondering why the light bulb lit up. Anyone know?

P.S. my teacher wasn't here today and when I asked the substitute teacher all she said was that she had no idea. None of the other kids there knew either.

We go through Dish for our television. I ordered a rental off of demand and it even tells me that I have 15 hours to keep on watching it. My receiver IS connected to our wifi internet. When I choose the option "watch" on the the movie overview, it does not play the movie, but instead goes back to the channel we were on while in the menu.

I have the 5200W model, it was in text under the router/modem I am using. After having the default u.n. and p.w. I grabbed a paper clip, pushed and held the button for 35 seconds, and let go. When the router booted back up and I entered my default gateway (192.168.1.254) into my browser and was prompted to put in the username/password for my "wireless adsl modem/router". After entering "admin" for both the username and password and clicking "login", it clears the username and password. So, as far as I can tell, the default username and password for my router are not working, even though I reset the router/modem back to factory settings. I'm so confused, what is the problem?

I am absolutely sure that I do not have capslock on when I am entering the information.

I'm not looking to exactly learn about building computers, I'm sure it's fun to learn about it, but all I'm wanting is to build a rig that I can play some games on. To be straight, I am not a hardware kind of guy, in other words I have no clue what the difference is between an intel core i5 and intel core i7. I have 7,500 principle. the rate is 1.05%. it compounds annually. I want to know what my total is after 10 years.

so..

A = P (1 + r/n) ^nt

A = 7500 (1 + .0105/1) ^1(10)

A = 7500 (1.0105) ^10

This is where I get stumped. I know it's probably simple, but idk..
