ok so i'm pregnant my last menstrual period was on april 17 2008 which makes me 40 weeks and 2 days, on all my sonograms they have told me my due date was jan 22, which is what they told me at the other clinic i was checking my self for prenatal care, now here is the thing i've used many due date calculator on the internet and it also give me jan 22, but my midwife insist i'm due today jan 24, i'm fine with that but i had a previous c-section and trying for a v-bac now, she wont induce me until the 7 of feb, which is past 42 weeks counting on the jan 22 due date,and exactly two weeks from the 24th, is this safe i dont want my baby to have problems for being in my uterus too long,, what should i do, another thing is she has scheduled me for a post partum appointment but i think i shouldn't go 2 weeks without seeing, her she just wants me to go in to get vitals checked is this ok ...... shouldn't she be checking me until i'm induced?how can i convince them to induce me before that date...thanks in advance

ok so i'm 40 weeks right on the date, and today i requested my membranes were striped, and my midwife did it and also strectched my cervix a litlle, it kinda hurt though now i'm haveing like blood clots looking discharge with a little cramping about a 3 from 1-10 in pain, now i dont know what to expect, my midwife did mention i will be spotting but didnt say anything about bloody clots coming out, is this normal, or not please help, how soon do you htink my labor will start?

okay i'm due today,, hopefully hes coming out soon, real soon, but i am afraid i dont have a name yet form him,,,, my name is aileen and my husband name is david i've been really trying to make a combo of both names but just cant come up with nothing that sounds right,, could you guys many suggestions...the baby is a boy, and i'm hispanic.....dont want anything that sounds too american because i have some family members in his side that wont be able to pronounce a hard name in english ,,, including my mom . ... she dont know english very well.........please help

ok so i'm 39 weeks and 5 days as of tomorrow,.....and i have a doctors appointment but i want to know how can i convince my midwife to induce me or at least to strip my membranes......please help....btw i went to get a sonogram today and they told me baby is fully cooked and weighing about 8lbs 6oz .....i know it's only an estimate he could be bigger or smaller but that still is a good size even if is 1 pound diffrence

HAS ANYONE USED EVENING PRIMROSE OIL AND IF O HAS IT HELPED..I'M JUST CURIOUS BECAUSE I STARTED USING IT ON MY CERVIX AND I'M STARTING TO LOSE MY MUCUS PLUG..
