Okay ladies, I usually just answer questions, but now I have to ask one. I have read numerous posts condemning girls who wear, in your opinion, too much makeup. What do you define as too much makeup? And why are a majority of the girls out there so quick to judge a person based solely upon the amount of makeup they wear?

Technically speaking, there really is no such thing as 'natural' makeup. None of us roll out of bed with shadow, gloss, eyeliner and mascara in the morning, except those times when we've all had those nights where we've slept with our makeup on. That being said, if we don't wake up with product on our faces, it's not natural, period. You can do a lighter application of makeup, but anyone who wears makeup no matter the amount is not 'natural.' So why are ladies who choose to wear a bit, or alot more makeup than a person who chooses to wear a lighter application viewed differently? Isn't it a bit hypocritical? We're all ladies, but I've seen way too many posts here where some members use very unflattering terms to describe someone who chooses to wear red lipstick. Why? Does wearing heavier makeup really compromise the content of your character? Why are some people so judgmental? and what does that really say about us as human beings? That it's okay to verbally attack someone else based upon the color of their lipstick? Why can't we appreciate everyone's individuality instead of attacking it? I didn't ask these questions to be mean or argumentative. I sincerely don't understand. So I would really appreciate some of your insight. Thanks
