Getting a motorbike licence in Japan?
Hi guys, I'm a Brit who'll be moving to Japan soon to work as an alt for a year or so and I was wondering if it'd be possible to learn to ride the motorbike while I'm there. I have a full UK driving licence and I'll have an international licence before I leave for Japan.
Any help or guidance would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance.

For a few months (maybe reaching 4th one now) my computer had started started booting with 5 short beeps, sometimes varying with 5 sets of 5 really short and quick beeps, and then works fine. I've opened my pc up many times and reseated the cpu/heat-sink and cleaned all my components but this still happens. Does anyone know what could be causing this? thanks in advance!

1 AnswerVideo & Online Games9 years agoLoud Pop and my computer will not POST?
I was watching a show on itunes when I suddenly hear a loud pop sound, after which my PC just completely turns of. The light on my mother board still remains turned on, but when I press the power button nothing happens. I was receiving voltage warnings prior to this but I thought they were just of minor importance, I was obviously wrong. I have already taken the PC apart and plugged everything back in but still no luck. Can someone please tell me what's wrong with my PC and how I can fix it?
6 AnswersDesktops10 years agoHelp with a CPU fan fail?
Hi guys, I had recently finished building my first rig so I am very much a noob when it comes to overclocking and fiddling around in the BIOS settings. This is what I have running at the moment;
Case: Coolermaster HAF X
Motherboard: ASUS Crosshair Formula V
RAM: A couple of Dominators
Video Card: XFX Radeon 6870
CPU Cooler: Coolermaster V6GT
And a couple of hard drives, and an optical drive
The problem is that when I turned it on for the first time I hear one short beep, which I read is normal, and then it is followed by one long beep with four short ones, and the screen says that there's a CPU fan error. I turned the system off completely and turned it on again, this time watching the V6GT, I noticed that it doesn't start spinning as soon as I pressed the button but it does immediately after the long beep with four short beeps.
Can anyone help with this problem? Any help will be appreciated
Thanks in advance
5 AnswersDesktops10 years agoHelp with the compatibility of my new build please?
so currently this is what i plan for my new rig;
Case - Coolermaster HAF X
PSU - Coolermaster GX 750W PSU
CPU - AMD Phenom II x6 1100T
Motherboard - ASUS Crosshair IV Formula
Graphics adaptor - XFX Radeon HD 6870
RAM - Corsair CMZ16GX3M4A1600C9
Optical Drive - LG GH22NS50.AUAA
OS - Windows 7 Home Premium
SSD - OCZ Vertex 2 120GB
Bearing in mind that I am not concerned with the last components or an extreme computer, but would like to build a very capable AMD computer. This is going to be my first build and I would appreciate any input regarding the compatibility of these components together, or if there have been major problems with any of them, thanks in advance!

4 AnswersDesktops1 decade agoHelp with University!!?
I have just received my grades for my A-level, not as expected, so i had then been put through clearing where i managed to get into a last minute english with Politics course in Canterbury Christ church. however, i have now found that i can instead do an IT practitioners course in Bexley college for one year giving me more UCAS points, allowing me to attend possibly a better university and possibly do a better subject. I am not sure about this, and am currently confused, as this English/Politics course was only chosen because of my low UCAS points. But if i get more, i could do a better subject. I would just like to know if this is a good and valid idea, especially if you have been in a similar situation.

I have just got Windows 7 Ultimate with a new laptop, and recently i've noticed the when I view movies that I have bought from the itunes store, through file explorer, the thumbnails of the actual files have changed to album art. Is there any way i can do this manually for avi/mkv files as i am finding the need to convert most of my videos to mp4 just to add these album artwork icons.

2 AnswersAdd-ons1 decade agoHelp with Hard Disk Failure...?
I currently use a HP 6830s (Windows Vista Home Premium, Intel Core 2 Duo CPU, 1.80GHz, 3GB RAM, ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3430, and a Blu-Ray drive), it has been working fine for just over 2 years, and suddenly (since this morning) I have began to receive error messages warning me of my hard disk failing. Despite my laptop's constant 'Not Responding' windows and the frozen screens that follow, I still find it hard to believe that my actual hard drive is failing. Could the error messages be a mistake? if not, how serious is this 'failure' and is it fix-able??

i have a laptop (hp 6830s), which i use primarily, in addition to the laptop screen i have recently started using a 15" packard bell monitor to extend my desktop. Everything has been working perfectly for 2 weeks, but now my external monitor (the Packard Bell) keeps going blank, the vga is still properly connected, the plug is still working, and even the light to tell me if the monitor is turned on is green. i have ran out of ideas and utterly clueless on what to do now, does anyone have any ideas that doesn't involve me having to buy a new monitor, or returning this one?
