  • Will Obama ever tell why he was interviewed in the Blago case?

His team told their side of the story while he was jetting to Hawaii, but Obama hasn't spoken about it at all. Why was he interviewed by the prosecutor? Why were two top aides interviewed? Or will the media give him another pass?

  • Should the thumb townships secede from Cook County, Illinois?

The six townships in the thumb of Cook County (Elk Grove, Schaumburg, Hanover, Barrington, Palatine & Wheeling) secede from Cook County and establish their own county or join Lake, DuPage or McHenry County? This would keep taxes lower and reduce the power of the corrupt county government.

  • Isn't this just what we can expect from the Obama administration?

With a conference of all the international financial leaders coming within a month, the Obama admin won't send any observers. Why? They'd rather score political points than roll up their sleeves and help solve the financial mess. As Americans they should be working to solve it, but as Democrats, it is one great chance to smear the GOP.

  • Are their any GOPers (other than Colin Powell) stupid enough to be in Obama's cabinet?

I've heard that Colin Powell has been actively campaigning for either State or Defense. But he's not a real Republican anyways. Is anyone else power-hungry enough to become a true pariah among the GOP and cast his/her lot with Obama?

  • Odd that Campell Brown of CNN now promises to be "No Bias, No Bull" the day after the election?

Her show was one ongoing political ad for Obama and smear after smear against McCain and Palin so now she claims she'll be unbiased. Has all of CNN joined the loony left?

  • NFL draft order for 2008?

Can anybody tell me what the current NFL draft order would be if the season ended now? Is it worth it to watch the Bears throw their last three games to try and slip into the top ten?

  • Anyone tried growing lumber bamboo in the USA?

In east Asia, bamboo is frequently used to replace wood timber. Since it grows about 100 times faster (100ft tall culms optimally can grow in one year) it is a much more environmentally friendly way to provide certain "wood" products like flooring, fencing, etc. Is it all imported or does anyone know of any attempt to grow it commercially here in the US?

  • White Sox fans, should the Sox trade Crede for a washed up Damon?

Joe Crede, premier third baseman and clutch hitter would seem to be on the trading block. Yankee fans seem to think Joe plus prospects for Damon, but shouldn't the Sox be getting the prospects if this trade goes down, it'd be a disaster straight up. And don't even joke about throwing Garland in (maybe Contreras instead.)

  • Should Questec results be public knowledge?

Questec is the electronic strike zone. It can tell if an umpire should call a strike or ball. The umpire's union has fought fiercely to keep this info private but why. Hitters' batting averages are public, pitch counts are public, fielding errors and fpct are published. Why can't an umpire's accuracy be public knowledge. Good umpires should have nothing to fear, an occasional minor misjudgement is part of the game, only the few poor umpires would be exposed.

  • Who has the advantage between the Red Sox and the Rockies?

Will the Rockies be wide-eyed in Fenway or will Manny have trouble with the extra acreage in Denver? Will the extra rest break the Rockies streak or will the Red Sox fold in the snow?
