My throat hurts!!?
Ok I already read the other posted questions on this similar topic & none of them anwser my problem.
Starting yesterday, I felt this pain coming on in my throat at the base like I swallowed a fat pill & it got stuck kinda feeling. I've been drinking hot tea with honey, which provides little relief as I am drinking it but fades as fast as the last drop.
Today the pain is worse like I expected it to be & now it is dificult to swallow food. I have no other symtoms as of yet. I am feeling fine, energy is good, voice is uneffected, temperature normal.
Now I have experienced this scenario before a couple years back while on vacation & was advised to take Echinacea Goldenseal which helped tremendously like magic. At that time it got so bad that it felt like a knife was held to my throat all day. I don't want to get to that point again. So besides drinking Throat Comfort (by Yogi Teas) & Rooibos Red Tea what else can I do? I don't have medical coverage. Any ideas of what's causing this?
1 AnswerOther - Diseases1 decade agoComputer problems after answering a question?
Anyone elses web browser going crazy on you after answering someone's question? It's happened to me twice now where after I submit a thought-out answer to a question regarding family issues, about 60 browser pages pop up right after the other! And then my computer gets overloaded and the only way to shut it down is to unplug it! What gives?!? Could there be viruses attached to some of these questions? If so then be weary of the family drama section!
3 AnswersYahoo Answers1 decade agoWhy is my 14 mo. old daughter rejecting her Daddy?
I stay at home with my baby/toddler. Her Daddy goes to work every day and comes home to us. Lately she refuses to let him hold her or reach for her. Sometimes she will come up to him but only after playing on her own for awhile. I'm annoyed with having her cling to me 24/7 and really want her Daddy to be able to help out when he's home but how can that happen if she throws a fit every single time he holds her? or when I walk away and leave her next to him? She's not sick, but she has been hitting lately. She also has been telling us "NO" for everything. Is there such a thing as a "rejection faze" cuz she is sure going through it! She also is rejecting her grandma to whom she used to love being with but now she tries to hit and kick her or cling to me and proclaim "No!" every time.
Penny for your thoughts??
20 AnswersParenting1 decade agoI'd rather not spank, but....?
How can I discipline my 14 1/2 month old daughter with a very stubborn will? I use the ignoring technique when she is safely flat on the bed or floor. After she has thrown her self back I just lay her down and let her scream, but how about when it comes time to change her diaper and she's kicking, screaming, crying, squirming, etc. all at once? So far I just either pin her down and look away while she finally relaxes or I get pissed and smack her bottom once( which I absolutely hate doing & feel like a bad mother when I've resorted to that).
Or how about this scenario: I'm at the store, she fusses about being in the cart, I take her out and let her walk beside me (after exhausting other resources like playing with a toy or snacking on somehthing), time to go and pay after just a short shopping trip and she throws a tantrum about getting back into the cart so mommy can unload it and pay? I've never spanked her in public so I normally just hold her if she lets me. What do I do??

Acetaminophen w/Codeine is a prescription I've had for awhile and I just now noticed that it expired back in 12/19/06. If I take this for my killer headache will it help or hurt me?
4 AnswersOther - Health1 decade agoIf not a convicted felon then...?
Hey I don't remember the term but what is it called when someone has committed a felony but wasn't convicted? Instead they did community service and was on probation. What I'm getting at is that my husband and I are trying to move and he will be on the lease. How can I convince the management that he isn't a felon and the deed was 5 yrs ago?? It was nothing serious, just filed as drug trafficing

I haven't taken my car out of the city in a while and I am open to suggestions as to what measures I need to take in order to prevent any car problems. Besides having enough oil, topping off my fluids, & checking tire pressure(including spare) is there anything else? I drive a 2000 VW Bug

Omnicef is the anibiotic that my nephew of 22months used for his ear infection. I think my daughter has one now too. I am waiting for her insurance coverage to start and have no money to bring her to the doctor. She won't be covered till August, till then I need to keep her healthy somehow.
