I have a dSLR Canon, & I was reading that it s best to get an external mic to be able to record videos. But what would be the best mic for live music & vlogs? I ve read that stereo mics are best for live music, but would it work good for vlogs also? And it s very difficult for me to find any stereo external mics. Please give me some suggestions (I prefer shotgun mics if possible).

Over the past few months, I ve had dreams of love a few times. One was when I was in a relationship and was in love with an old friend of mine of who I hadn t thought about in years. Then I had another dream where I met my true love who is a celebrity. And it s weird because I ve never thought about that celebrity once before either, or really cared about that celebrity. And another dream I had was when I befriended my favorite groups of celebrities. And another dream about love occurred to me as I was in a relationship with my friend who had liked me previously. I don t know why I m dreaming about all this because I don t even think about love or dating or even celebrities for that matter. Why am I getting dreams about these things that I don t have time to think about? I m not a hopeless romantic or anything, I ve also told close friends and family of mine that I don t plan on dating for maybe 5+ years because I m not interested, I don t have the time, and my future career is more important to me right now than anything else. So I just need some clarification, please. Thanks.

Throughout my life, my dad has always gotten mad over the littlest things (when I was a kid, I rolled down my mom's car window & it wouldn't go back up & he yelled at me for the whole day through the night & made me sit in the corner in the dark for hours). He ALWAYS overreacts and my mom just agrees with him. Whenever I did good in high school, they just said, "That's not good enough," and always compared me to everyone else, then when I did what those "everyone else" did, they told me not to do it & got mad at me (joining cheer, dancing, etc). Then I fell into depression and my grades deteriorated. Then one event that just happened was that there was a church doing a puppet show & prizes for kids at the park near our house. And my mom & toddler brother was going. But I was in the middle of bleaching my hair, so I couldn't go. But my dad called and said I had to go or I was going to be grounded. And he'd call back. But I went to go shower, and he called 9 times. Then I called him back, and he said I'm so irresponsible and I need to stop making excuses, if it was my boss who said would call back, I'd be fired, I need to be more involved b/c I didn't do good in high school, etc. And how I'm grounded for the summer, but I'm the one who wakes up in the morning, babysits, cleans the house, and cooks for everyone. Then my mom came home and yelled at me. And I'm being grounded for one little thing. I mean, I'm turning 18. Aren't they overreacting? Or am I just angry for no reason?

Will just doing vocal warm ups/exercises and just singing a capella/with instrumental improve your vocals? Other than also using correct techniques? Or are there also other ways/things that I'd need to do? Also, I come from a small town where there's no vocal coaches around except for choir. Also, how long should I be doing vocal warm ups/exercises? Please give me other advice as well, please!!!!! Thank you.

I don't understand... My "friend" has held a grudge against me for almost a decade (we met in elementary, my other friends made her cry, I moved, haven't seen each other for four years, she still hated me then) and since a month or two ago, we started talking again and she seemed cool with me. And out of nowhere, she started treating me like crap. So I stopped hanging out with her & every one else who treated me like crap. Then they started talking badly about me. And told one of my other good friends #1 that she hated me. And the "friend" #2 also said she hated me (because I haven't gotten my glasses and had to copy her work, immature, I know). I don't understand what's going on here? Why they're so dramatic and hate me for stupid reasons. But EVERYONE loves them. Like, what's wrong with me? With them? Why do they only act nice when they need to copy from me? And then they get mad when I tell them, no? Please give me advice.

There are times when my heart starts racing out of nowhere and I feel like I'm at the wrong place and that I shouldn't be there, like I should be somewhere else. And I do, at times get worried about my future because I feel like I'm not being able to reach my goals, I'm not where I want to be yet, and that makes me worried. And also, there are times when my body wheezes/makes bubbly sounds and it'll make me cough, as if there's overproduction of mucus. And I get sharp pains in my chest, lower left abdomen, and even in my heart. Is this all related to each somehow? And bear in mind that I'm still aldo, very young. So I don't understand what's wrong with me, and why I'm feeling this way. As if I'm meant to be someone bigger and better than now.

Is there a major that singing, dancing, acting, and playing musical instruments all in one (music artists)?

If so, what "major" would that person choose?

Or would you have to take just one of those as a major and then have others a minors?

My micro sd card is scratched at the metal parts and when I put it on the phone or the laptop, the sd card is unreadable. Is there a way to recover any of the files that were on there? It's a sandisk 32 gb.

Both of my sibling, including everyone else in my family all have a high nose bridge. But between my eyes, it gets flat, then my bridge comes out. I'm also a in my middle teens, if that counts for anything. But I'm just curious as to why it's different from the rest of my family's. And it also makes me very self conscious, so any explanation would help. And is there a way to make the nonexistent bridge between my eyes higher?

I have been using proactiv for a few weeks now. And I've noticed my pores are either getting bigger or they're blackheads? Before, I didn't have noticeable pores above my lips, below my chin, and on the top of my cheeks next to my nose. But now, I see them more and it seems like they're blackheads? Cause they're super noticeable and seem a little black; like holes, but I'm not sure. Is there anyway to get rid of big pores and blackheads also?

Hello, I am a sophomore still attending high school in CA. From first quarter, I had a 3.5. Then when the 1st semester ended, I had a 3.1 and at the end of freshman year, I got a 2.8(I know, pretty bad). But I've been really pressured by my parents to get better grades and they're always yelling and yelling at me. It makes me really frustrated and hard to concentrate on school. They're always yelling at me to choose a major for college and to just stick with the whole thing. The problem is that I can't choose what I want to be. I originally wanted to go into performing arts, fashion designing, journalism, writing, and things like that. But my parents won't allow me to cause they don't make enough "money," so I just really need A LOT of advice. But I also have dance practice right when I get from school and of course I still do my chores and things like that and I obey my parents. But nothing ever makes them happy enough. It makes me so stressed that I would want to runaway. And even when I don't have time to myself or to do homework, I still managed to keep my grades up, but it's still not good enough. I also had attended summer school and got two of my classes from a C to an A. As of right now, I can't take AP classes, so I'm taking all my requirements to graduate and I have honors English, passing with an A- average. Any help and advice available? Thanks.

I've been wanting to block some people, but I don't want them to be able to find my timeline anywhere. So, can they still view your timeline/profile? Would they be able to find you anywhere? Etc, things like that.

I have been doing a little research because I'm afraid that I might have vocal nodules and I would just like a little more information on it as possible. As I am only a high school student, and I was curious as to if someone has died or become sickly due to untreated vocal nodules. And is it normal to feel something in your throat all the time? I'm afraid that the nodule has gotten bigger because I could always feel the lump even when I'm tilting my head toward the ground. Please give me all the information needed and what I should do! im turning 14 this year and is going to highschool next year, i really want to be an actress, and i'm sure that they have drama clubs and things like that, but, how are the drama clubs like ?? and how could i become a better actress ?? are there certain ways or some ways that might or could help me ?? are there some things that helped you ?? please help..!

every single time that i look in the mirror or look at the side of my face, my nose bridge is really, really low that its just flat between my eyes.. and from the bottom of my eyes, then you could see my nose getting bigger.. i'm only 14 so i can't do rhinoplasty, and i don't want to use makeup for it because it wouldn't work.. i just want my nasal nose bridge to be higher because with it so low, whn i would take pictures, you could even see the lighting reflect from my low nose bridge.. i'm in desperate need!! please help!!!

I've heard that you're only supposed to have two, but there's this family(they're idols I'm guessing) on allkpop and they're going to have their fourth child, and people always say that you're only allowed to have 2 children.. So I'm kind of confused on this thing.. thanks.. :)

i want to improve on my singing, im pretty average at my singing, i guess, and i want you guys to recommend me a proffesional, or the best vocal coach that you guys had that are from online, because, i want to go on an audition, and i need help to find a good vocal coach, and also a good dance teacher so that they could also teach me dancing, and a teacher that would help you act also.. thanks..! :)
