Being in the military reserves and joining a federal agency...?
How does it work if you are in the reserves or national guard and you want to join a federal agency. I want to join the FBI or DEA, and I was told that the DEA will want to move you. What if there are no openings in the area for the reserves? Are you out of luck or will they work with you? Who would know more about it, law enforcement recruiters or military ones.
When I interned with the state police, there were guys that had to move across the state for the police, but had still had to go back to their original military bases. That would obviously be a problem if you are talking about a country instead. Thanks.
