I don't trust the world at large in general. I know that most Governments, corporations and individuals can have an agenda of some sort, and I don't buy what they are selling til I have the time to sit down, take it apart and see if it makes sense and that science, data, statistics or common sense collaborate's what they say. Too many people want to jump on the band wagon...and they usually get taken for a hay ride. Where I personally draw the line is when these agenda driven, selfish, kooks or uneducated people cause pain, strife, or more money to other people. You should only interupt someone's else's life IF its genuinely for their own good and not push your agenda or unproven belief's on them.
