  • What do bikers do when it is raining outside?

I am thinking about selling my car and buying a Harley Davidson for about $6,000. But I was then struck with the question of what would happen when it rains. Do bikers wear rain suits? Is it hard to drive a bike in the rain, when compared to doing so in a car. How does a bike stand up to the elements and rainwater. Thanks for your input.

  • Coolant Overflow Tank Repair Question???

I have a crack in my coolant overflow tank on my 1996 mitsubishi eclipse. I know that I should replace the tank itself but need a temporary fix. I bought a plastic welding compound that is rated up to 200 F. Should this be sufficient to hold the hot coolant overflowing from the radiator.

I also realized that the coolant in the tank was boiling. I am not sure if there was some air trapped in the radiator or not. I opened up the pressure cap and refilled it with coolant...waiting...and topping it off as the water went down. I then plan to refill the overflow tank and pray that it is still not boiling.

Overall with those temperatures should I be safe with the epoxy. It dried hard and bonded to the plastic well. My only concern is for the temperature.
