Ok,

I go to a german school, and my german is not half bad, but i want to improve it. Next year i have my DSDs, oral and written, so i want to improve both my grammar and speaking, so i can be fluent (And Ace them).

Anyway, everyone says the way to do this is read more german, and i've tried, but thing is, i get bored quickly (i read ALOT of english though).

So, does anyone know any really good german books? (Like Tintenherz maybe?)

Is Facebook going dark like many of the sites to protest? Like Wikipedia and Reddit. Honestly I'd admire it if they did, I hate SOPA...

Are Google and Yahoo going dark?

Are sidereel and cucirca going dark too?

What about League of Legends, they're going dark too, right?

Is PSN? Twitter? Flickr? Mangastream? Apple.com? App Store?

What major companies are completely against it? I know Google, Yahoo, Facebook and Twitter are, any others (Sony, Nintendo, Samsung, Apple etc)

Is Bethesda going dark?

I bought Assassin's Creed and the color for the case isn't white/see-through/clear or silver/platinum. It's black, but a bit see through (with the "Blue-Ray-Disc mark on the top right). Everything else looks great, manual (mostly black and white on the inside though) and covers great. It says region 2.

Why is it black? Is it maybe fake? Is it because of the Region? (I live in Egypt btw and i got it online here).

I'm new to the world of PS3 and gaming in gerneral, so any help would be appreciated :D

Okay, I just got a PS3 and am looking for games.

I've borrowed Uncharted 2 and Call of Duty World at War (haven't played the latter yet). Then I'm borrowing Black Ops, Star Wars the Force Unleashed II, a Wolverine game and Legendary. And eventually, when a friend is done with it, MW3.

Are these games worth investing some time into?

Then I bought: Naruto Shippuden UNS2 (cause I'm a huge fan), Assassin's Creed: Revelations and The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim (Nerd-Mind going into overdrive :D), they should be here any day now (weird shipping stuff).

I was wondering what other games I should save up for (I'm probably not going to buy anything soon. Since I'm basically broke now xD).

I really want Uncharted 3, LittleBigPlanet 2 and maybe BF3 when it's cheaper. Maybe even a good Sonic Game if you know one?

The Diablo and BioShock Series look great! Rayman Orgins also looks pretty cool.

So what are your suggestions? What good games are coming out, or are already out, that I should save up for? Which of these games should I buy/borrow? Which should I ignore or aren't worth it? Any other game recommendations?

These recommendations will most likely plan my gaming-schedule through 2012, so pick old, new and unreleased titles alike!

I sorta understand what ability power is (but I wouldn't mind another clarification), but I don't get how to assess which champions it helps more.

I'm using Riven, and I'm focusing on her now. I need to know, does ability power at all benefit her? How much? More than attack damage?

Also, could you PLEASE compare attack damage and ability power?

On the landline it just gives the busy tone. On my cell phone it says "connection error"

MIT is my goal for collage, I dream of MIT, I need MIT.

Anyway, I'm not at collage picking age yet, but I have a decision to make:

I am miserable at my school, the education is great, but my friends all left, and I'm getting really depressed. Anyway, my current school has International Abitur (the basic German counterpart to IB), it's still to easy, and I want to leave.

There is this great school, where I have friends and I know I will be happy, but they only have a Canadian Diploma (or whatever it's called). There are only 9 IB schools in my country (Egypt) and about 3 other Abitur schools and I don't think I would fit into any of them.

Now, I need to know if I can get into MIT with a Canadian degree. I think I have a lot of the other stuff covered: My grades are very good, I have a very high IQ, I speak 4 languages, I have great leadership skills, I was class president for many years, I have excellent writing and maths skills, I'm sure I can get great recommendations from Teachers, I tutor and I do community service.

I think I will take the SATs either way.

So could I get into MIT with the Canadian Degree? Or any other great collages, like maybe Ivy League Schools?

My laptop batter died a while a back (after ca 8 months of not so careful) usage, so i got a new one. And similar to the old one... The battery life is not so good...

I just purchased the Humble Voxatron Debut Bundle (YAY) and now have 2 (out of 3) games that I can choose to download on steam, or download directly. I do use steam often (Portal, Portal 2, Spore, Spiral Knights and Team Fortress 2). But I'm wondering if it's better to just download the games regularly. I'm running Windows 7.

So which way should I go, direct download, or steam? What are the benefits/downsides of both?

I managed to save my corrupted minecraft world (YAAAAAAAAAY!!!!!!) Now, I can't find my way back to where I was when the world corrupted. How can I find those coordinates, without going back to the corrupted world (I tried using the F3 thing there, but even that doesn't work)? I still have a copy of the old corrupted version of the world though. So, any ideas? (I'll choose a best answer!)

I just bought Minecraft (BETA) and when I launch minecraft.exe and pick "Update" it starts at "Downloading Packages" and gets stuck there, without any progress!

If I pick "not now" it gets stuck at "Finishing Download" or smthing like that...

Same for the Browser version! But no problems with the free "Classic" version

I tried: restarting my computer, uninstalling and re installing Java, deleting the bin folder (not sure if i did everything right though so i restored it), downloading the second version available on minecraft.net, disabling my (Norton) Firewall and googling it for hours... NO LUCK!
