This might sound like a stupid question, but do tampons shorten periods by the slightest by absorbing the Blood inside you, reducing it more quickly? Rather than a pad which waits for the blood to come out? Just wondering because I would think a tampon would absorb and take out more blood.... Sorry this is gross. Haha

So I've been thinking of getting a cartilage piercing!! I am trying to decide what ear to get it on because my left ear has a birthmark on it and doesn't look as good as my right side... But I heard your right side makes you "gay"... I don't think people care these days about what side it's on... Right? Please help!! :)

I've had my period for a while now, but I'm expecting it during my softball games this weekend! We wear realllly light gray pants and I'm scared I might not notice that it came during the game! I have liners but if I get it during the game and can't go to the bathroom in time, it might leak! Am I able to wear a tampon for a little while? Or should I just risk it and wear a liner? I HATE pads! Please help!

Well my best friends friend ( I know this isn't nice), but she irritates me a lot. I try to be nice to her and be friends with her, but she is always complaining and I just can't handle her!!! My best friend is really good freinds with her, but it just realllly bugs me they are friends because whenever I want to hang out with my best friend, her friend is there and I can't deal with her. What do I do? I've tried to open up and be optimistic, she just isn't my type of friend I guess?

So it's 3 days like, which is kinda normal for me, but I have softball today and I don't want it to come when I'm at practice! There are no bathrooms, and I can't just not go to practice! I feel like a panty liner will be too thin if it comes at practice and I can't do anything... So should I just wear a pad? Ugh I hate pads :( oh and I can't wear one of those cup things.

So my friend was just diagnosed with type 1 diabetes. And I know that's really not good, it's quite disappointing actually. But the thing is, they are making a HUGE deal out of it. I know it's life threatening, but they (I feel) are blowing it way out of proportion... I keep trying to tell them it will be okay and whatnot, but I think they like the attention... What do I do??

Well, the guy I like has dropped a few "hits" (I feel like). He moved closer to me in class, he handed me my paper from the printer, his friends all stared at me at lunch 0_o haha! His friend started kicking the desk when I sat in front of them and said," dude look right there!!" And he said," yeah I know shutup!" (As if I couldn't hear them haha!) And he stares at me in the hallways!! Every time I see him he stares at me! I dunno if it's just some coincidence or if he actually likes me?!! :) please help and be honest!

Well, I like him and one day in class he moved up two seats to sit next to me, yet we have never talked! I m sooo nervous to talk to him and I can tell he s shy too!! We always see each other in the hallway and stare at each other (not in a creepy way haha)! Another thing that happened was his friend and him were sitting behind me and his friend just started kicking the side of the table they were sitting at RIGHT when I sat down!!! and his friend was like "dude right there!" and I was the only one really visible to them! :) Please HELP!!!
