Confused about Electoral College?
I'm a bit confused as to how the electoral college works. I know that if a candidate wins 50%+ of the people's votes in a state, then that candidate will get all the electoral votes in that state. But I thought that the electors can still vote for someone else. So how can a candidate automatically win all the electoral votes when it's the electors' decision in the end? Maybe I'm missing some sort of rule here...

1 AnswerMathematics1 decade agoOpen vs. Closed Circuits?
Hi, my physics textbook doesn't talk about this, but it's going to be on my physics test.
So how do the open circuit's resistors and current contrast with those of a closed circuit? (By the way it's a circuit with a combo of parallels and series)
I think someone told me that the resistors will reach infinity, but I'm not sure. Will the current reach infinity too since there's no connection??

1 AnswerChemistry1 decade agoBalancing Equation/Chemistry Help?
Potassium Chlorate is heated. So instead of balancing it, do the reverse.
The answer is: 2KClO(3) --------> 2KCl + 3O(2)
I don't get why it's 2KCl+3O(2). Cuz wouldn't that make like KO+Cl? Also, why would KCl and O be able to combine with each other??
By the way (#) means it's a subscript.
