Background info: Two weeks ago this Wednesday, I took my 4 month old puppy to be spayed. When I picked my puppy up and got her home I noticed that she had been tattooed. I called and asked the Spay and Neutering Clinic why and they explained that this is the "universal" sign that she had been sterilized. I have never, in all my years of having pets had an animal tattooed. I would think that the scar from the operation would serve as in indicator that she had something done. It is a small green line that is tattooed below her incision site. I am just wondering if anyone else has had an animal that was also tattooed? I am also wondering (because my dog has a very light abdominal skin, so it is easy to see it) how is someone suppose to know that an animal that has a black stomach has been spayed or neutered?

I am not sure if this question has been posed before but I have to ask it. We know that the U.S. has Nuclear Weapons. Why are we telling other countries that they can not have them? If we want them to disarm, shouldn't we?

Could someone please explain this to me?

If there were no limits on money, time, etc, and someone provided you a means to accomplish something you have always wanted to do, what would it be and why?

I believe that women who are old enough to be grandmothers really have no business having children. Is it fair to bring a child into this world and you may not live long enough to see them grow up?
