I just want to hear different opinions about life in both cities, types of people, finding jobs and lifestyle overall. I heard that New York might eat you up. Is that true? Is it safer to stay in LA?

What should i be prepared in terms of job search? I am moving in between of the Thanksgiving and Christmas. Is it consider to be dead hiring season? What is best way to approach the job search?

My load is pretty small size of the studio. I wanted opinion on what is the most reputable companies out there and is Prestige Moving & Storage one of them? Is it more expensive to move or try to I've away as much as possible? Things I want to transport are not very expensive or irreplaceable, but having them definitely will help me to start my life in my new place.

Me and my boyfriend both graphic designers. He works from home I got a job at prestigious fashion company. WE are both neo-hippie, non-christain, non-traditional or white. Well, I am white but my boyfriend not. So we are mixed creative couple moving from Redondo Beach to the very heart of OC in a cookie cutter world. What should we expect? Is it a very bad move? WE would rather live in Venice.

WE have 0 experience with OC. Based on what around the place where I work is a boring chain restaurants we never go to (Both raw and vegan) golf course and Walmarts. Is there is more to it? Anyone can relate to it?

I am thinking to get the "boob job". I am size A and 5.2" tall. I had small boobs all my life and having a baby didn't help at all. Now I am about to turn 40. And feel like i need something to be done. I will be older but at least I will have sexier body. I work out a lot and do weight lifting, cutting on carbs which made my shoulders wider and flattened my chest. This is due agin I suppose too. I know there is famous people out their like Shakira who totally comfortable with their small size. And man seem not to care about the fact that she is very flat. My boyfriend doesn't really care. I'd like to hear from the women who have done it. Did it make them happy? Does it really opening more doors?

My hair is partially bleached and over heated by a ceramic iron. I blow dry and flat iron my hair daily. I have split ends and overall damaged hair as a result. Any suggestions on products/brands and treatments I can use to improve the hair texture?

We are both freelance creatives. He works at home dealing with flaky clients or trying to get any job.I manage to find more jobs even in this tough economy and pay my portion of the bills on time.He owns me money for the last month. But I am the one who have more expenses (14 year old daughter and car payments) He told me he never experienced such misfortune in his life. But the things are not improving and he looses he's confidence and I loose respect for him. It affects greatly our relationship and he fears me. He doesn't even have he's own car! Please help. I do love him but getting doubtful about he's progress.
