A buddy is trying to figure this out because he feels like he was cheated out of O.T. since he had 97.88 regular hours. I found it strange & I'm having difficulty finding a legit answer.

Should the government stay out of abortion cases since it's a problem anti-health care people have w/ the current plan on the table?

(They don't want the government in their business)

And I'm not saying I personally lean one way or another I am just curious since this is such an issue w/ the same people who oppose government run health care( what medicare is but whatever..lol)

Fact: He never really tried to "aggressively pursue" an agreement. (He's been the presumptive nominee for less than two weeks, and he never had the promised private meeting with McCain.)

Also,he pledged last year to accept public financing if his opponent did as well & McCain never did until after Obama announced his plans though it was widely known he would weeks prior!

My real question is what's up w/ the spin here...? Can anyone give me a legit answer as to why the lies are flying...because as stated above, Obama put out the proposal on handling this & McCain did nothing now all of a sudden Obama is a bad guy!...for real,how many can say w/ honesty you actually contribute to this fund in the 1st place!

This is just a short article from yahoo talkin about the 1st's if he becomes president...there is a part that list some of his experience....He may have only been in the senate for 3/4 yrs. but his experience goes back way further than that.

I know about usa.gov but I'm talking about gov. grants & things like that.

Any advice would be awesome & greatly appreciated..oh & I either would love to major in English to become a writer or major in both History & english so I could teach in seattle..if that helps anyone w/ dishing out some better advice....thanks world of Yahoo!

Any signs or forms of life,water,signs of an old race?

Let's say we discovered an asteroid headed for earth & we had 50yrs to find a way to survive...could we build a spacecraft(multiple ones) suitable enough to transport millions of people or figure something else out or would we go the way of the dinosaur? (I know this is all hypathetical but its a legit question)

I've read alot & I've read alot of posts in which people accuse Mr. Obama of being Muslim. I've seen no proof to this being true but it's still floating around out there, so I would love to see this proof!

Also I'd just like to point out that because of his name IS NOT proof enough.

I think it could have a positive impact & HOPEFULLY begin to change the garbage that goes on in our inner cities. Translating into a change in thinking & maybe a change in world view.

I've seen alot of reports stating that race was an issue for some people....so I wanted to put the question out there though I'm sure it's been posted before.

"I" call the war in Iraq BS because of how it all began and because I strongly feel our government has lied to us about the facts. I understand and realize we should be there but I think initially it should have been under different circumstances. So maybe my question should have been...When do we begin to truly focus on America instead of fixing the world or better yet let's just try to make sure the tax paying people of our great nation are taken care of in times of crisis regardless of Race, creed & how much $$$ they have and anything else we find ways to seperate ourselves from eachother.

I'd just really like to see our gov. make sure things don't get out of whack like Katrina...(and I don't want to even begin to compare the 2)

These fires are going to cost so much in reconstruction. One of our largest states is going to need so much help so again how can our government justify still asking for billions to fight this BS war?

I've done volunteer work and other sorts of things to give back to those around me. I don't consider myself to be anyone great,but I see everything that goes on around me in this world and its sickening. I look for ways to help everyday so now I want to hear what others have to say because I think right now its not a race to save America its a race to start to save humanity from itself. (in no way is this meant to be corny..just being straight up)

With so much corruption and scandal it becomes clearer to me that we as a nation must begin to use the constitution and take back our government. The criminals we have in place (current administration) have shown me that this is completely necessary. Until the people can rise up and begin to be more involved and hold the government directly accountable for EVERYTHING we will not be able to accomplish anything.
