It seems to me that we started talking in a pretty cool way. Met her through her cousin whom I'm good friends with and we sort of had a chemistry going the night we hung out. I got her number and texted her a while but I had trouble making it go somewhere; I couldn't just get to the point that I wanted a date. I felt like I was texting her too much so I kind of quit a few days ago. Now she's hanging out with other guys and I'm starting to see some competition so I don't know if I should wait for her to see if she's interested or not. Or maybe I should just text her right away to get a date so I'm still an option. I'm just thinking if I don't text her and there's a chance that she's already thinking about me but I was starting to be overbearing then I can get her to think about me more than I do her.

My grandma's bathroom is on the first floor of the house and the floor seems to be sinking by the tub and the wall is cracking and falling apart around the bathtub. I'm thinking it needs repainted and some new things too but I can take care of that. I'm mostly just wondering about a general estimate of how much you think it would cost to get the floor and the wall fixed.

School started and I flirted with the girl I like and i got her. Got a date with her, went amazing(like romantic kind you'd expect in a movie), and we kissed at the end. The next day were back at school, she doesn't talk to me at all, and that night sends me a long message about not being ready for ao relationship and I'mtoo good a guy and she's not right for me bc I'm still a virgin and she isnt(and she doesn't know but she was also my first kiss), and I went to her house to clear it up. I eventually got her to kiss me and start flirting again but the next day she's confused again then she flirts again and then she doesn't know anymore. How will I ever know where I stand with her?

I have state farm and I will get 95 for liability and good student or 127 with no good student. Never had a wreck or any kind of accident. Could I save any money with any other insurance company or will they all charge about the same? I've been with state farm for over a year.

When I do things or while I'm talking to people i feel like I'm doing everything the way my friends do or someone I talk to does. Sometimes I even feel like my laugh is just like my friends too and it annoys me. I don't want to be like anyone else I just want to be me but it seems habit forming that I take characteristics from the people I'm involved with

I was pretty straightforward the other day in asking for her phone number but I've texted her and she never texted me back so I think since I'm going to school with her I'll just act like nothing is unusual Monday and Tuesday and just talk to her a lot. Wednesday I'll finally ask her if I texted the wrong number or if she wasn't answering for a reason or whatever, and Thursday I'll ask her out for a date on Friday or Saturday.

I'm dealing with school, work, and track. I am having trouble with school and keeping up w/ work and being involved in track takes away more of my time studying my food list for work or studying for exams. I really don't like the job and they're talking about laying me off anyways. Should I quit?

I met a girl over msn messenger when I was 13 and even though it was online I kind of liked her and really liked her for almost a year. Then I started talking to her on and off and finally we met in person this year at a basketball game. This basketball game was the first time I had seen her in person and the first time I had talked to her in almost a year. We talked at the game and now it's months later and we met up at my local iga and I was so excited to see her again. When we had to go I was sad and it's been almost 2 hours and I still can't stop thinking about her.

I'm pretty average but confident. Lately I haven't been on a date. I just want to have a nice time with a good girl. Where can I meet some nice girls(not sluts)?

I have these things about myself that I just hate. I dislike the way I run and do things actively because I am uncoordinated. I also have incredibly shaky hands and I am nervous around some girls. To be honest, the reason I want to change my mannerism is to make myself more appealing to the opposite sex. I'm working out and running daily but I'm a little worried that all of this won't help if I don't change my disposition and mannerism.

I'm working out at a local gym and I'm a pretty big guy. I'm 6'1 and I weigh 190 lbs but it's not solid muscle; about 30 lbs is probably fat I bet. I've been slowly reducing my calories so far(like dropping soda) but if I make a lot of changes in my diet that allow me to consume less calories and take in a lot more protein will I get big and ripped?

I'm not going to tell you my life story but sometimes I feel like I have it kind of rough. I don't really enjoy life. Basically, I feel angry most of the time and I get aggravated easily. On the other hand, sometimes I can be quick to please. Is there anything that could get me out of this slump?

I haven't been really happy in a while anyways, but I'm a really angry person. It seems that I'm only happy anymore when I'm doing something crazy or getting recognition. I had a horrible date the other day and I need to get over the girl and have some crazy fun to get back up on my feet. I only have about 4 or 5 good friends, as I feel everyone else I know are assholes. What sounds like a good idea?

So through experience I've learned most girls don't really like it when I'm excited for them. For some reason, they like it more when they think I'm less excited than they are. ...So I slipped up and told her I was excited about our date. Do you think that may have fudged things up a bit? lol

I'm 16 and homecoming is coming up. I don't really have much dating experience but I do know a really cute girl that happens to be single, however we have one class together and we don't sit next to each other. Also, we have the same lunch break but she sits with the friends she's had since grade school and I sit with mine. We don't really talk a lot so I was wondering how I could strike a conversation with her without making it awkward. Like, I know since we don't talk to each other a lot it will seem awkward if I go to her locker out of the bloom so what should I do?

I'm 16 and I want to be like the rest of my friends. I want to go to parties now and then and go on dates with girls I like. However, I live with my almost 80 year old grandmother who wants to be with her sisters and brother-in-law EVERY weekend. That isn't bad. I'm not mad that she wants to be with them, but she insists that I be there too! I go to school every day and then don't get to spend my free time doing what I want on the weekends because they would rather have me around. And her sister is annoying. She seems to think she's helping me by having my grandma ask me if I want to do anything while they are on the phone together and if I am honest and I say no my grandma gets mad at me... Then, on top of that, my grandmother's sisters(my great-great aunts) are always talking about me and how I act like I'm not happy and crap(well, obviously I'm not happy because I want to live my own life and not have to put up with that crap all the time). Seriously, how should I deal with this?

I am 16 years old and now I am the right age to open a checking account and get my own debit card. I live with my 78 year old grandmother and she tells me banks are bad news. I will agree with her on that to a degree, and I need some advice. I suppose I can get a free checking account at the bank of america but I don't really know much about that yet. It doesn't matter because I don't really have any money at the moment, but I'll look into it when I get paid on the 12th. Anyways, my problem is not all about opening a checking account. My grandmother and I barely get by every month because, before my grandfather passed away in '05, he had withdrawn two mortgages to pay for his medication which was all that was keeping him alive. He passed away and my grandma got stuck with the two mortgages and pays $380 for the first and another $80 for the second every month. The rest of her money goes on bills every month and my mother, who doesn't live with me, gives me child support so we can afford food to eat and my car insurance. However, this is just barely getting by and living in a house where the bathtub is falling in and the roof is horrid we would have better living conditions if we could live somewhere else. However, there is the mortgage my grandmother says she is stuck with paying. In other words, I guess we are stuck living here? At least until the mortgage can be paid? Or is there anything we can do to get away from this house and move into a nice, cheap apartment? And I'd like to know a little more about checking accounts and debit cards if you could supply that information as well. Thanks! -Christian

I really like this girl. Her and me are almost best friends, but I've tried to take her on a few dates and I've done a few dumb things(not really dumb, just a tad immature) and she wouldn't text me back the other day so I figured I'd just give her time and let her come to me. It's been a few days so I was wondering if I could give her too much space? Like giving her too much time and she will just stop caring altogether, so maybe I need to text/call her and make it happen, and try to get another date.. or maybe I should just wait and let her come to me. Either way, I don't get my license for another few weeks so it will be difficult to hang out until then. Any advice? Should I text her soon or give her more space?

I'm a freshman in health class so I'm making a video about not smoking or doing drugs with a few friends. I need to get some background music because we want to do a rap. I don't want to copyright or anything and I also don't want to pay for any kind of beat maker.. So are there any free beat makers out there? If soo, what are they?
