  • I know it's just a phase, but...?

    my 2 year old son pushes my husband away whenever he tries to give him a hug or kiss when he gets home from work. It used to be the only one he wanted was Daddy, and I was ok with that because I was home with him all day, and it was really nice to have him see my husband and go straight to him, but I know that my son pushing and hitting whenever he wants a little kiss or hug hurts my husbands feelings. He gets very upset. We tell my son, no, it's not right to hit people, it hurts physically and it hurts their feelings, and he gets punished accordingly (time out in his room, etc) but he still does this, just to my husband. Any suggestions on what to do?
