  • Do you think that Americans should boycott Chrysler and General Motors for closing down all those dealerships?

And causing thousands of people to lose their jobs? I certainly do. There is no expense to these auto manufacturers for the dealers to stay open. These vehicles are already paid for by the dealers. If I have to drive 40 or 50 miles or more to buy a Chrysler or GM product, and then have to drive that distance to get it serviced, I'll go to a Ford dealer that's a little closer home. Remember, Ford Motor Company turned down the government money.

  • Why does Fox News have a larger viewing audience than ABC, CBS, NBC, and MSNBC news programs combined?

I believe the answer is this:

Fox News is fair, balanced, and accurate. The other main-stream media are biased to the liberal side, and don't tell the complete stories, especially politically speaking.

  • Have you noticed your Verizon telephone bill? It includes Obama's "spread the wealth around" philosophy?

Obama's "spread the wealth around" philosophy has hit us on the Verizon telephone bill by changes (increases) in your Federal Universal Service Fund surcharge. The FUSF surcharge, which is authorized by the FCC, and reviewd quarterly, provides funding for programs to keep local telephone rates affordable for all customers and to provide discounts to schools, libraries, rural healthcare providers, and low-income families.

  • Attention, Smokers who voted for Obama. Are you happy with the new tax, after he promised a tax break?

I'm not a smoker, but I'd like to know how smokers feel about the new cigarette tax. For some of you, there goes your $13 tax break.

  • Has anyone ever survived and recovered from metastatic colon cancer?

In 2002, I had colon cancer, had colon resection surgery, and was on chemo for 6 months. My oncologist told me that if the cancer ever came back it would be fatal. In Aug., 2006, I was diagnosed with metastatic colon cancer. It had spread into my liver, and several other areas, and I was prognosed with 6-10 months to live. I was on chemo for 10 months, which reduced the liver cancer, and liver resection surgery was done, removing 40% of my liver. All the other tumors had disappeared. Now it's in both lungs and abdomen, and I'm back on chemo (Erbotux and Irinotecan). I'm told there is no cure for this.

Does anybody out there know if I have a chance of survival, or have know anyone who has survived metastic colon cancer longer than 5 years?

Thank you so much for your answers.

  • Has anyone noticed a different bland flavor of Burger Kings Whoppers?

In my area, the flavor of their burgers is not the same charbroiled taste that they used to have. I questioned a manager about it, and she said that Burger King has replaced their broilers. The broiler-cooked marks are still on the burgers, but the flavor is not as good. What do you think?

  • If my Class III medical was suspended, would I still be able to solo LSA?

My medical was suspended because I didn't reply to the FAA's request for more medical information from my doctor. I was diagnosed with cancer about 10 months after my 2-year medical certificate was issued.

My question is this: Since a medical is not necessary to get a light sport license, unless a previous medical was suspended, would I be able to legally solo, not get a license, but only solo, a light sport aircraft, if my illness would not hamper my flying abilities? I am licensed to drive a car.

Thank you for your honest answers.

  • Ever heard of the parable of the bullfrog?

If you put a bullfrog in a pot of boiling water, he will immediately jump out. If you put the bullfrog in a pot of cool water then let it gradually warm, he will get acclimated to the water temperature, and stay there until he boils to death. This is just like the USA. The U.S. is the pot, Americans, as a whole, represent the bullfog, and Congress is the water. It started in 1962, when prayer was taken out of school, and it has gradually progressed, while Americans became acclimated to the changes. Now, we have bank take-overs, etc., and Geithner wants to be able to seize any company that he thinks isn't doing so well, and put the government in control of that company. The "water" (Congress)is getting hotter, and the "bullfrog" (Americans) will soon succumb to the Socialist/Marxist ways of the current administration, if we don't do something about it. WAKE UP AMERICA, and don't allow this to happen to our great country.

  • Ever heard of the parable of the bullfrog?

If you put a bullfrog in a pot of boiling water, he'll jump out. But if you put him in a pot of cool water, and let it gradually warm to the boiling point, the bullfrog will adjust to the warmth, and eventually boil to death. This is just like the U.S. The U.S. is the pot, Americans as a whole are the bullfrog, and congress is the water. It started out in 1962 when prayer was taken out of school, and the water was beginning to get warm. The further congress goes with their plans to socialize this nation, the hotter the water gets. Now, Geithner wants to be able to seize all companies that he thinks is going under. The water will soon be boiling, and the bullfrog (Americans) will succumb to the "hot water" (Congress) and boil to death to the socialist/Marxist ways of the current administration. WAKE UP, AMERICA, and don't allow this to happen.

  • Since our "leaders" in D.C. wants to tax the AIG bonuses?

should they also give back the raise that they voted to get for themselves? I'm not condoning the bonuses for AIG employees, but what's good for the goose is good for the gander, especially in these financially difficult times. I believe the politicians should give back their raises.

  • Why are Democrats on Capitol Hill so corrupt?

House Speaker, Nancy Pelosi, called illegal aliens "patriotic". How can they be patriotic when they are breaking the law? Sen. Chris Dodd (D- Connecticut) said he didn't put a loophole in the Omnibus Bill for AIG execs to receive bonuses, then he changed his tune and said that he did. What's going on in the Democratic Party? The Republicans are gaining ground.

  • Do you like pickled corn, or pickled pigs feet.?

I love them, and also pickled beans. I also love to eat pickles. A peanut butter and Vlasic dill pickle sandwich is delicious. Ever tried it?

  • If Obama signs the $410 Billion Omnibus Bill?

in it's current form, does that make him out to be a liar? During his campaign, he promised to veto all earmarks. There are 8500 earmarks in the current bill, 60% Democrat and 40% Republican. It doesn't matter when the bill was drafted, it has to have his signature to become law.

Also, they should check spelling and grammar before submitting questions. It would make answering their questions alot easier.

  • Has anyone installed a hydrogen generator on your car or truck?

I installed one on my 2000 Buick Century last week. My gasoline mileage has increased by 20%. Hydrogen is seperated from water and routed into the air intake, causing the gasoline to burn more efficiently. I will probably install one also on my 2005 Mercedes E320.

  • Why is it that some people will answer questions about insurance, without knowing what they are talking about?

I have been answering questions on YA for about a month. I am retired from the insurance business after 30 years. There are a lot of people who try to answer questions about insurance, and they don't have a clue as to what they are talking about, in a lot of cases. I don't want to offend anyone, but I think a person should have some working knowledge about a subject before answering questions about it. I know this is only a game, but why give out false information?
