It's a long story but to cut it short, I'm engaged & have been with my partner for 6 years. He's been very emotionally abusive for about 4 or more years & snaps at me all the time. He puts me down, erodes my confidence & I have no self esteem & am agoraphobic now with severe social anxiety.

We have a young child together & although I've been asking him for ages to get help, he denies he has a problem & even blames me of being abusive ( I'm not, I just argue back at him sometimes as I get sick of his crap)

What I wan to know is - can someone like him change? I've been ready to walk ou the door so many times but my son adores his dad & something stops me. I know you will probably tell me to just leave him but it doesn't feel that easy with my son

I think my period should have been due the next day but am very uncertain about this as its really irregular. I've been getting very mild cramping & still haven't got my period yet. I had a small amount of brownish discharge 4 or 5 days after sex. Today (11th day after sex) I took an early pregnancy test 10ml u & it was negative. Could I be pregnant?

I made up a joke & texted it to my partner thinking it would make him laugh. He replied asking me who sent it to me & accused me of being a liar. He's sent repeated messages saying " a man " must have sent it to me & told me to "tell him". He then found the joke on different websites & emailed me links to every website calling me a liar because it's on different websites. He can be emotionally abusive & when he gets home from work, I know I'm going to get either dogs abuse from him or the silent treatment!

The thing is, I genuinely did make it up! Help?

Im 39 weeks & 4 days pregnant and for the past 3-4 hours have had constant braxton hicks or tightening in my upper stomach. The weird thing is they usually go away but have been there constantly for hours. Its not painful, just very tight & uncomfortable.

Could this be early labour?

I bought a small netbook recently that runs on Windows CE. I have had trouble trying to find out both from the manufacturers and from Virgin who my wireless internet is from in working out how to connect it.

Can anyone with some technical knowledge please help? Virgin staff have been useless and the manufacturer has been no help either

I could really do with a few sensible answers from people who may have had experience with this sort of thing before.

I am 5 months pregnant and was referred to a physiciatrist in the hospital for appointments as I have a history of depression and agoraphobia. When I went into the appointment, there was a doctor there and a social worker asking me a ton of questions. Since then, I have been worried sick wondering if the social worker is going to take my baby of me.

Im delighted im pregnant and while I have suffered from depression and still do, I cant wait to have my baby and am going to be the best mum I possibly can.

Can anyone tell me if this is a formality for a social worker to be there or what they think? I am worried sick

Im 11 weeks 5 days pregnant and everytime I seem to read something on the internet about pregnancy, it all seems to be comments from women who have had miscarriages and its freaking me out!

This is my 1st baby and although I havent had bleeding or anything to cause concern, I cant stop worrying myself sick. My first scan isnt for another 2 weeks so am worrying until then!

Anyone any advice?

I have just found out recently that I am 8 weeks pregnant (my doctor worked out my dates) but have not got a letter yet for my 1st scan. I know it maybe a few weeks too early but im so impatient to see my baby as Im really excited!

Does anyone know how long it takes to get your appointment date? I am going with the Royal Hospital in Belfast, does anyone have any experience with them?

I have been with my boyfriend for over 4 years and i have thought several times that I have been pregnant (which was a little silly as I never was!) My boyfriend got sick of me going on about it but today I took a Clearblue Digital Pregnancy Test & it said "Pregnant 1-2 weeks"

Does this definitely mean im pregnant?

Also, I have told him and he doesnt believe me & is even shouting at me & refusing to come to the doctors with me. Help!
