  • Should I be obligated to fly across the country for my Brother-In-Law's funeral?

My Brother-in-Law (Wife's Brother) died very unexpectedly. Her family lives in another state. The airfare will cost $900 dollars for the both of us because it is such short notice. She offered to go by herself to save us money. I'm not sure if she really meant that or if it would be inappropriate. Should I attend with her no matter what? Her Brother and I weren't close (we only met twice) though he was a good guy and I did really like him.

  • Kind of a moral problem, a stripper did sexual things to me unexpectedly and now i kinda feel like I cheated?

My wife is out of town. I was bored and went to the strip club. No big deal, she doesn't care and actually goes with me to them all the time. Anyways I was getting a lapdance and the stripper took out my penis and gave me the "happy-ending". I didn't ask for anything like that, it really took me by surprise but I didn't ask her to stop either. So now I feel bad kinda like I cheated. Did I? Should I tell her what happened? I actually feel a little violated. Sorry for the adult-oriented question, if it offends anyone btw.

  • Raise interest rates now, before its too late!?

Who else thinks that interest rates are way too low and sending us straight toward stagflation? If (more likely when) the Fed raises interest rates, what do you think the goal should be? I say 8%, not only would that stop inflation but it would also cause people to pull money out of commodities (like oil) and put it into banks, cd's and bonds. Its not like people are buying new houses and cars anyways. Am I right?

  • Why dosen't the US sell part of its gold reserves to raise the value of the dollar?

The price of gold is at an all time high, while the value of the dollar is plummeting, causing horrible repercussions for the US economy. From estimates I've heard the US gold reserve has at least $150 billion in gold. Why doesn't it put part of that (say $50 billion) on the market to simultaneously lower gold prices and raise the value of the dollar? I'm certainly not an economist and just wondering out loud, but it seems to make sense.

  • My computer is making a strange intermittent noise?

About every half-hour or so my laptop (dell inspiron 1501, turion 64 x2 mobile, windows xp) makes a strange noise that sounds sort of like a camera shutter. I have no idea what this sound is, where it comes from or why my computer is making it. I don't think its anything mechanical, it sounds more like something in the software, but I'm clueless as to what.

  • Will Charlotte Give Okafor The Max?

One of the most overlooked bigs in the NBA. I think he's worth it, but do the Bobcats? Who else do you think might go after him.

  • Who will McCain choose as his running mate?

Will it be Giuliani, who is likely to drop out and endorse McCain, or will McCain try to secure the conservative vote by choosing an evangelical like Huckabee?

  • Invisalign, braces, or veneers?

I am trying to do research to help my wife decide what type of dental procedure to have. She's 22, her teeth are crooked in the front with a large gap between her front two teeth on the top, her teeth are also very small, almost child-sized. Can anyone suggest what would be the best choice to correct these issues, traditional braces, invisalign, veneers, lumineers?
