  • One Guys Keeps figuring out all my card tricks!!!?

There's this one dude I know. He's 24 years old and smart. I've preformed David Blaine's hand switch (here then there) and he was all like "duh you have a duplicate card) and then I preformed 2 card monte... He figured it out... The ONE trick that has him stumped (kinda) is the Invisible Deck. I've done it once to him and he already kinda knows how it worked. He's not even a card magic guy!! Anyway, I NEED a trick to stump him! Please answer!! By the way, I am a fairly educated card magician, so I will know references to sleight of hand moves if necessary for explanation

  • Help with first year of high school?

Hi, I'm a 14 year old guy and this year I'll be going to high school. I'm kinda scared because I don't know a single person except for my senior brother and a couple of his senior friends. I'm really not the most social person so I'm afraid I won't make any friends in time before everybody has already made friends. I joined the music ministry as the schools piano player, but that won't really be a friend-making activity. I plan to join the golf team as well. I'm just kinda scared that I'll have to sit alone in the cafeteria everyday like when I went to a new school for about a month. Please if anybody can help me! Thank you so much

    Asrock z87 extreme4

    Evga gtx 770

    Corsair cx600 watt psu

    1tb HDD

    250gb ssd

  • Help with HDMI vs DVI?

I'm building my very first gaming computer, and I am now picking out a monitor. I was looking at asus vx238h, but I am now reading that people say HDMI is not good for pc gaming, or that it looks horrible and DVI is the way to go. The asus vx238h does not support DVI (that's what newegg said) anyway, will hdmi look bad? Do I really have to choose from. The very limited amount of 1ms gtg DVI monitors? Thank you!! Also, if you know about monitors, is 1ms gtg response time overkill, or will something like 5ms gtg be just fine? Thank you!!

  • Help with GTX 770?

I am about to get my GTX 770 for my comouter, but I am really confused. The plain EVGA GTX 770 2gb version is MORE expensive than the super clocked. Any THOSE are MORE expensive than the superclocked w/ ACX cooling. Does acx cooling suck something any that's why it is lower priced? Why is the superclocked version less than the origional? Which should I get?

    Specs (excluding GPU)

    CPU: intel core i5 4670k

    MOBO: asrock z87 extreme4

    PSU: corsair cx600

    SSD: Samsung 840 EVO

HDD: Western digital caviar blue 1tb

RAM: 2 x 4gb sticks of corsair vengeance

    OS: windows 7

    Thank you!

  • Help with my gaming pc?

    http://pcpartpicker.com/p/2UwVa

That's my soon to be gaming pc. That's not the actual case I am using, I just clicked a random one to fill the spot...if you need to know the case I'm actually using is this http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N8...

Anyway, I have a few questions. My dad keeps trying to tell me that 600 watts would not be enough if I am planning to upgrade in the future. He wants me to go for 800 watts is this overkill, or good? Thanks! Also, is my motherboard good? Motherboards and power supply are the only things I know absolutely NOTHING about. Thank you!

  • Is the intel core i7 worth it?

Hi, I am building my very first gaming pc in about a month, and I have currently selected the i5-4670k for my CPU, and the EVGA GEFORCE GTX 770 Superclocked w/ acx cooling for my gpu. I was wondering if it would be smarter to go with the i7-4770k, even though it is about $100 dollars more. Is it worth it? Or should I stick with the i5? How much will it affect my fps in games like crisis 3, battlefield 4, skyrim, and even...minecraft...yea, I still. Find that game fun. Anyway, please share your thoughts. Thanks!

    Here is the link: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/2TWhM

Is there anything you see wrong with this? Like maybe any upgrades you see necessary, or anything I am spending too much on? Also, only answer if you really know what you are talking about..thanks!

  • Help with gaming PC case?

    http://pcpartpicker.com/p/2TJt4

This is the link to my gaming pc components. Only thing I don't really have planned out is the case. There are so many I just don't know which ones to even consider, or completely ignore. It appears Corsair makes some very quality cases, but this is the one area of gaming pcs I know nothing about. My price range is approximately 100-150 US dollars. Also, I do like LEDs, but that is not necessary as I can install them manually when it really want them. I would also like a case that's looks nice, not super fancy or anything, just something nice...okay...maybe a little flashy :D thanks!

One BIG problem...over my budget. I haven't even picked a case yet :/ anyways, please suggest maybe a cheaper processor. I think this might be a little overkill for me. If necessary, please please PLEASE suggest a new motherboard to accompany that new processor, preferable cheaper XD thank you so much! Also, if necessary...a cheaper anything! I'm pretty set on graphics card, psu, storage, and operating system. Is my ram maybe too much? I'm only counting on playing games such as battlefield 3, modern warfare 3, skyrim and maybe some minecraft. Thanks!

  • Help with building a gaming pc?

I would like to build my very first gaming pc, but don't know what parts to get. I was wanting it to be $500 US, but I don't know if I can make a good one for that price. I was thinking processor would be:

    CPU: intel core i5-4330

GPU: gtx 650ti boost ( I need help here! Do I get the nvidia one? Asus? Evga? Help!)

Motherboard: I don't know! Apparently there has to be some sort of processor specific mother board stuff, please explain which I should get

Power supply: I really don't know either

    Case: doesn't matter to me

Ram: maybe 4-8 gigs? Also, what in the world is the difference between ddr3 and all this other stuff? Does it matter?

Hard drive and DVD drive: please tell me which one is the best for less than or equal to $500 computer build. Thanks!
