Who
When cycling against the wind. Should you pick alleys or open roads ?
I could imagine alleys work like funnels and increase the wind speed, but I can also imagine that they limit wind speed.
So, should I avoid alleys or open roads for the least resistance ?
2 AnswersPhysics5 years agoWow long will it take till ww3 ? Increasing debts, friction between religions/nations, underemployment.?
The increasing voice of extremism, be it muslim, right or left wing.
And the rise of populist politicians.
So, what is your guess.
5 years ? 10 years ? Never ?
And will we all pretend (again) to be the good guys afterwards ?

3 AnswersDecorating & Remodeling6 years agoWhy is superstition still tolerated in the west ?
A few examples that make me boil:
Kids not getting their vaccinations.
People who fake the ability to talk to someones dead relative for money.
Mutilation of babies.
Schools that indoctrinate.
Political parties that may exclude women.
Selling water for large sums to really ill people.
All in the name of superstition.
Why, god, why is this something one should respect ?
Am I being closed minded because I think said examples are bat excrement crazy ?
6 AnswersPolitics6 years agoWhen walking the dogs separately, which dog do I take first ?
The "boss" or the pup ?
Or would it not matter ?
Somehow it sounds logical the boss gets everything before the pup does, but I might be wrong there.
6 AnswersDogs6 years agoThis question takes a little more room to ask but its about gravity, the moon and the earth. hypothetical af.?
Ok, this has been bugging me for almost 10 years now and no one could give a certain answer yet.
The moon always faces the same way.
For this example lets say it goes over a perfectly round part of earth.
One ties a rope to the moon, doesn't matter how or that such strong rope does not exist.
The rope extends to a foot/meter (distance not important) above the ground of earth, just hanging there.
Will this (almost) connection to the moon make earths gravity pull the moon to earth.
Or will it just dangle there ?
5 AnswersAstronomy & Space6 years agoMacabre, but i m just curious Would it be legal to sell used murder weapons. Or is it impossible to begin with, it being evidence and all.?
I can imagine there would be a line.
For example I could imagine the gun that shot Franz Ferdinand can be sold for its historic value.
But the guns that were used by anders breivik (it does not deserve capitals) have no historical value (yet).
