Federer hit 28 winners to Nadal's four. This was only the third time Federer had won a 6-0 set against Nadal in 26 meetings.

2 AnswersTennis10 years agoDo you think Andy Roddick will reach the quarterfinals in the US Open?
His second opponent will be Jack Sock(ATP ranking 592.) who won the US Open last year(boy's singles). Third round opponent will be either Denis Istomin(95.) or Julien Benneteau(81.) and then he probably has to face David Ferrer(5.) Wouldn't it be great to see Roddick in the top 8 again?
4 AnswersTennis10 years agoDo you think Federer will reach his 30. consecutive Grand Slam quarterfinal?
7 AnswersTennis10 years agoNow when Djokovic has become so good,do you think Nadal will ever reach Federer record of 16 Grand Slam titles?
After winning his 9. Grand Slam last year at the age of only 24 years, 3 months (Federer was 25 years, 1 month old when he won his 9. Slam) I was sure Nadal will break Federer's record. Especially because as Federer gets older and older, it will be even easier for Nadal to win another 9-10 Grand Slams in the next 5-7 years.
But now we have Djokovic who has proven to be better than Nadal on every surface. If he wins the US Open (and I'm 70% sure he will) Nadal will have another 1-Grand Slam year. Djokovic has actually reached the US Open final more times than Nadal so he's clearly a favourite to win. Djokovic himself, a 3-time Grand Slam winner, is too old(24) to break Federer's records (Nadal was 21 and Federer was 22 when winning 3. Grand Slam), but he's young enough and good enough to destroy Nadal's chances isn't he?
5 AnswersTennis10 years agoWill Federer and Nadal face each other in the US Open semi-final if both of them make it that far?
And wouldn't it be the first time these two face each other in the US Open? Nadal was never able to reach the final in the US Open so he never faced Federer. Until last year but that was the first time Federer lost before final. But now neither of them are nr.1 so they only have to reach the semis. Who would win that match?
10 AnswersTennis10 years agoWho do you think is gonna win the Rogers Cup - men's singles? Djokovic or Federer?
Andy Murray the defending champion and Rafael Nadal who's been in every Masters 1000 - final this year lost their matches. So now it's either Djoker or Federer.
Djokovic has won four Masters 1000- tournaments this year + two Grand Slams and he's the nr.1 so he's the biggest favourite. Djokovic has won the Rogers cup once(2007).
Federer is a 2-time Champion(2004,2006) and 2-time runner-up(2007,2010) of this tournament.
11 AnswersTennis10 years agoIs Bill Maher right saying Americans, even Tea Partiers, love socialism?
Yes, Americans say they hate socialism, but when it comes to Social Security, Medicare, unemployment, Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, corporate welfare, bailouts, and farm subsidies, what we really say to socialism is, "I can't quit you."
Americans don't want less spending on health care; by almost 2:1 they want more. Only 7% of Americans are willing to do away with either Social Security or Medicare, and even 62% of Tea Party members say those programs are worth the cost. Yet 91% of them say they want smaller government with fewer services. They're like the guy who's been to prison and says, sure, "I gargle with a guy's balls every once in a while, and there's nothing I love more than *** play with other men, but you know who I can't stand? Fags."
Remember this guy, the "keep your government hands off my Medicare" guy? He's not alone. In one survey, 40% of people who get Medicare say they have not used a government program. Really? Who do you think paid for that hip replacement, your Secret Santa?
