Bonjourno!! Hows everybody doing?! So I'm a 23 year old serial killer from London. My weapon of choice is my monkey. He is trained in full Knife combat. MONKEY KNIFE FIGHT!!! Anyway so I come on Y!A when I get bored at work....keeps me occupied. Yes I mainly reside in Polls & Surveys; but don't let that put you off me. If any girls from New Jersey have the guts to kick me in the balls let me know...otherwise I will get barefoot girl being chased by a ware-wolf to eat you. Would you risk it for a chocolate biscuit? Because I certainly won't. Biscuit is MINE b*tch!

  • Pokemon Leaf Green Team Help!?

So I've picked up my old Pokemon Leaf Green game and I am playing for the first time in years. I am trying to put together a well balanced team.

At current I have just finished the third gym, so only Kanto pokemon are available...

At the moment I am fairly happy with these four pokemon:

    Charizard

    Pidgeot

    Dragonite

    Kadabra

I am also using a Pikachu and Gyarados but I feel like these two should be switched to make a more balanced team.

    Any suggestions? Any tips?

    Thanks in advance!

  • My Laptop Keeps Turning off! Help please!?

    Hello!

I am having a problem with my laptop. Its a Compaq Presario C300. (about 7 years old)

It works perfectly apart from the fact that it keeps turning off and I loose all my data!!

The battery has been dead for about 2 years. Never bothered to replace it, but i plug it straight into the main power. I sometimes keep the old battery plugged in; and sometimes not. The problem happens either way. I have tried a new power cable.

I have already cleaned out all the fans / vents.

Any ideas on what I can try before going to get it fixed / buying a new one. (Cost of repair is probably not economical for such an old machine!)

  • Architect Software for designing a theme park?

I am looking for a piece of EASY to use Architect software which will allow me to build a large and intricate project. The project being developed is over two square miles, and includes hotels, mini shopping malls and a vast swimming pool set up (going over 20metres deep to be used for diving etc)

I am used to using softwares such as 3D Home Architect ETC.

Of course this is a much bigger project and has requirements that this sort of software can't manage. The problem is i am NOT an architect. I don't know how to use raw CAD programs so i want something fairly simple.

I need to put my ideas down somehow before i approach my professional architects...but paper just cut it!!

    Any suggestions?

  • Are there more species on land then on water?

According to the species found up to date; are there more on land, or under the sea?

Does anyone actually have a current estimate on figures? Of course i don't think we can ever say exactly how many species as more are always been discovered daily! But a current estimate would be nice.

I only ask as i was just told Land has more species, yet the world is 70% water!!

  • Overnight stop? Between Sodwana Bay and Johannesburg?

Hi I am doing the drive with my family from Sodwana Bay to Johannesburg. It's apparently about a nine hour drive so we would like to split it over two days.

The route we are thinking goes through Piet Retief, Ernelo and Bethal. (Not going down to Durban then back up)

Can anybody suggest any nice places to overnight? Ideally i am looking for something not too far off the track and a hotel, not a guest house. Any comments would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

  • Windows Validation and 0x80004005 error?

I have a problem with windows validation and would really like some help.

I built a computer about a month ago, and installed a copy of Windows XP Professional. It is a legitimate disc not a pirate copy. I have also installed many software programs including AVG antivirus, Office etc

    *

When I turned my computer on today it boots up but when I try to log in I get a popup saying:

*Windows Product Activation* This copy of Windows must be activated with Microsoft before you can log on. Do you want to activate Windows now?

I have the option of Yes or No. If I click No it goes back to the Log in Screen and I don’t get much further. If I click yes I get another pop up window saying:

*Windows Product Activation* A problem is preventing Windows from accurately checking the license for the computer. Error Code: 0x80004005.

This only lets me press okay and then I am back to square one. I can’t log into my account.

(I know I should have activated before)

    *

A quick browse of the internet told me that maybe some of my registry files might be corrupt. After booting up the Recovery Console from the Windows XP Professional disc I renamed the following files:

    Wpa.dbl

    Pidgen.dll

    Licdll.dll

    Regwizc.dll

    Licwmi.dll

    Wpabaln.exe

    To:

    Wpa.old

    Pidgen.old

    Licdll.old

    Regwizc.old

    Licwmi.old

    Wpabaln.old

I did this with the hope I could log into the CD, and do the following:

    • Expand licwmi.dl_ C:\WINDOWS\System32

    • Expand regwizc.dl_ C:\WINDOWS\System32

    • Expand licdll.dl_ C:\WINDOWS\System32

    • Expand wpabaln.ex_ C:\WINDOWS\System32

    • Expand wpa.db_ C:\WINDOWS\System32

    • Copy pidgen.dll C:\WINDOWS\System32

Every time I try to run one of these commands I get an error message saying Access Denied. So this didn’t work for me.

Basically I wanted to replace these files hoping that this would let me log onto windows and activate it!

I ended up having to backtrack and I have renamed all the .old files to their original file extensions.

Does anyone have any suggestions of how I can fix my problem? Maybe my attempt of finding a solution on the internet was a dead alley, I’m not sure, but I am at a loss now!

I really do not want to just “Reinstall” over my current copy as there are files I NEED to keep. Also booting in Safe mode has the same issue, it won’t let me log in until I activate.

  • I need a good RPG game please!?

Hi. I have a younger cousin who has been playing the RPG game Earth and Legend on my blackberry playbook for weeks....It's got to the point where i cant work anymore!

I want to buy him and put him a decent RPG "questing" style game on his computer so he can play it there. Honestly I don't know what to choose. I know nothing about these games. His computer is not to new and fancy, so i don't want something to demanding; and i want to avoid internet based games if possible. I don't think his mum is too happy about him interacting with others online.....Would get me a strong telling off!

    Any suggestions?

  • Excel Formula Question! Help!?

Hi. So i have a spreadsheet for work. Each row has several cells full of data. All words, no numbers.

For example row 1 might have a different word of text in cells A1 - Z1. I want to use a formula (there must be one!!) that allows me to combine all the data inside the cells (of each row) into a single cell. I basically want to separate the data from each cell with a comma and form a list.

    Is this easy to do>

    Thanks!

  • Fishing for a Newbie couple in the Peak District?

    Hi Everyone!!

I am going on a trip around England with my girlfriend next month (October) and want to spend a day in the peak district. My wife and I have always wanted to learn how to fish but we don't know a thing about it.

Firstly is there a good area to base ourselves in the Peak District to learn? Secondly what are the best ways to go about learning? Do we book a morning course? And learn the basics?

If this is not a good area to go to for fishing i am happy to hear suggestions of other places. We Ideally want to spend only half a day or a full day doing it maximum as we have a busy trip schedule.

  • Diving in Aqaba? A good hotel with a Dive centre?

Hi. I am planning a trip to go Scuba Diving in Aqaba (Jordan) next month. As yet my research online hasn't helped to much in finding a good hotel which has a good dive centre inside it!

I really don't want to stay in a hotel then have to travel to a dive centre everyday.

If anyone has been before, and stayed somewhere (4 or 5star i am looking for) where there was a good dive centre in the hotel i would appreciate any advise!

    Thanks!
