I've been getting in to journalism and it has really become a passion of mine. I know! I'm so lame..!
Question about singing?
I have been singing for a while now, but whenever I sing high notes I end up turning my head to the right a little. It's involuntary and I will sometimes even have to hold my head with my hands to keep from doing it, but my chin is still parallel to the floor, so it's not really a problem I just wanted to know if I could balance it out a little by practicing with my head turned left and strengthening the muscles on the left side of my throat. The reason I ask is because I'm a right handed guitarist and when My head is turned right I can't look at my fretting hand. How can I fix this?
1 AnswerSinging9 years agoWhat do blind people see?
I know this sounds like a stupid question but really, do they see darkness, kinda like when we close our eyes or do they literally nothing at all? If they see nothing at all, how is that possible? Or do they see black, but are unable to relate it to different colors. I asked my blind friend this and he said he sees nothing, but that's really hard to comprehend.
2 AnswersOptical9 years agoI'm a baritone. Does my falsetto voice contribute my overall range?
I've been singing for a while now and I've recently come to learn that I can hit full three octaves in my head voice, but if I switch into my falsetto, I can reach into a fourth octave. So what I wanted to know was, does a falsetto voice count as part of my range? This might seem like a stupid question but I want to be in with the four octave singers like Chris Cornell and Freddie Mercury
1 AnswerSinging9 years agoI bet your life will not click on this?
I've been interested in poetry and songwriting since I was 13. I'm 15 now and people constantly tell me that I'm an extremely talented writer so I want to share a treat with you guys. I asked for feedback earlier on this poem i wrote and got some helpful responses, but I crave perfection... lol. This poems about a kid I knew who doused himself in gasoline and torched himself in a wood shed. but I also added flecks of personal experiences of mine. I don't have a name for it coz I suck at naming my work so if you think of a fitting name PLEASE I'd be more than grateful.
Life will always find a way
To spin you around
Even when it gets you high
You feel like you're down
Life will always lose its place
But never be found
A gust of wind to blow your sails
Could run you aground
Life's an outdated movie
Colorless and fake
Forgotten actors faking lines
Whatever the take
And expired, soon your world will be
Not that it's fate
It's just all life comes to meet
An expiration date
The character of all life
Is like a dying flame
Not yet safe to touch
Nor is it safe to claim
In the atmosphere and heavens
It barely leaves a stain
And it extinguishes only once
In the cold, pouring rain
And in the dark and dead of night
When the beast finally wakes
From his spoonful of ice
Where he wishes it away
And when an angel calls to him
"Child, you'll rise another day"
"You've not yet lost the battle"
"But the outcome's far and vague"
Life is just an ironic twist
A cone upon your head
A joke you tell to crack a smile
Backfires instead
A judgment through a dusty window
A plead of innocence
Your final heartbeat was so loud
You missed everything she said
(If there's any type-os it's because I'm doing this on my sh*tty phone)
Feedback is accepted :D

It's about a kid who I knew that commit suicide by self immolation in a wood shed, as well as some personal references.

Love is kind of like a well
Or so I've found
You lean in I catch a glimpse
'Cause you're just hangin 'round
You yell out your name
Hear an echo, a rebound
It's easy to trip and fall in love
Harder to get out
Sometimes the night gets so so dark
But you lay wide awake
And all the while you're wishing
That you could wish it all away
And then she calls to tell you
That you got what you said
For everyone it seems so easy
For you it's far and vague
Love is just an ironic twist
A cone upon your head
A joke you tell to crack her smile
Backfires instead
A judgement through a dusty window
A plead of innocents

So? Tell me why you think. Should I pursue a career in writing? I also really suck at naming my writings (lol) so if you guys would suggest a title that would also be great.
4 AnswersPoetry9 years agoWhen you ask a question on Yahoo! Answers, do you think answers that are at the bottom are more informative?
I made an interesting observation while reading some of the responses to my questions. I've noted that answers that come several minutes after the question is posted are USUALLY more informative... And yes I've condidered the fact that it takes time to type up a long and descriptive paragraph, but I'm talking about answers that come like 30 or 45 minutes after I post my question. So... Had anybody but me ever noticed this before? Is it just my mind playing tricks on me?

10 AnswersPolls & Surveys9 years agoAre conservative women prettier than their liberal counterparts?
I was reading an article on the femininity of republican women vs the femininity of democratic women and it has me convinced that the more conservative a woman is the less ugly she is. If you want to read the Artical hear it is:

The artical is brief but I think you will get the gist. So do you agree or disagree?
11 AnswersPolitics9 years agoAre non religious people better at arguing than religious people?
I was reading a chain of comments the other day and a noticed how the religious people more frequently made invalid statements, whereas non religious people were capable of making valid statements AND backing them up with factual information. This is the prequel to my big question >:) So tell me what you think...
4 AnswersSociology9 years agoAverage IQ of the average racist?
I've noticed a pattern that the education level of racists is lower then that of a non racist. I live in a hardcore redneck town so you can just imagine what I have to go through er'yday. (I'm white but I still don't like racism.) So what do you think? Are racists stupider than non racists or what?
8 AnswersOther - Cultures & Groups9 years agoWhat percentage of questions are troll questions?
In my opinion, I see these "troll questions" as a subliminal sense of humor and personally think some of them are quite funny. Why do you think?
9 AnswersOther - Cultures & Groups9 years agoCan anybody think of any funny roman gods?
I know there's stericulius the god of poop... But are there any more? If you know any be sure to list the gods name and it's entity.
