Right now I have a 1tb lacie, but it's bulky and almost out of room. However, it's reliable. I've had a seagate hd but it crashed so I'm wondering what's a good brand for 2TB

my brother gained control over the router and if i try to reset it, the whole network screws up and i don't know wat to do. but thats not the question. i know utorrent connects via porting and stuff but when i connect to utorrent it says no nodes waiting to log in. so im wondering is ther ea way to bypass the porting of the router to geta utorrent connection. and no i cannot connect directly to the cable modem. idk but will a proxy work? any ideas and if u have a solution give me a site that explains the process. i have a linkseys WRT54GS Wireless-G Broadband Router with SpeedBooster.

i have a macbook pro and there is someone in the household who's very techy and he knows how to crack passwords via a CD to get into my account. This is very very very annoying so i was looking for a notebook lock that would prevent him from opening the screen but all the locks i see online do not stop the screen from opening up. So I was wondering is there any product that may help me. I was looking at the Sony FIU 600 Puppy fingerprint scanner b/c i knew it was mac compatible. since it plugs into the usb port is it possible that this password cracker can get past this by taking the scanner out of the usb port? idk but im desperate to try any possiblity to keep my macbook pro out of bad hands. any1 have any feedback that may help me?

i have a mac book pro and i was wondering where to go to see how much harddrive space i have left. also when i move the cursor to the top left hand corner of the screen (by the apple icon) the windows i have opened move to the side. can i disable this from happening. also do anyone know where i can get final cut pro 5 for video editing at no expense? I just got a macbook pro and since i've been used to windows, this is new to me. so to any devoted mac users can you tell me the basics to the mac--any tips and tricks to get around easier. tell me how its different from a pc and etc.

In addition, because the macbook pro works with the intel processor, I know its possible to install windows on the macbook pro as well by using a program called bootcamp. does the labtop come installed with bootcamp or do i have to manually download it and if so how do I go about installing it? Also is it better to use xp or vista for that part?

on the windows xp logon screen is it possible to get into the account in case i forget my password. i know someone who got into the account without using a floppy and they changed the password. any1 know how they did this and is there anyway to secure the windows log on screen even more. oh and the computer is a labtop connected to a linkseys router which networks all the computers in the household. maybe that has something to do with it
