Okay so, I'll just be honest... Music is a BIG thing for me. As a person who doesn't have much of any experience at it at all, I can't tell you how frustrated I am. I don't have an idea as to where I should start from, with what I should start making music, how should I build up my skills - so on and so forth... There's just too many questions with no answers here and I can't even begin to list them all: how to get the skills I need (at singing and musical instruments), where and how to record, how to actually make a song... I just need someone to give me a place to start from. It seems so easy for some people, yet I always feel like I'm out of it, unable to participate. I have all these ideas in my head that I've had for so long, but I've never been able to express them, because I didn't know how. I have the vision, I know how I want my music to sound, but I don't have any knowledge on the subject and I don't know how I can do it. Once I start - that's it, I'll never stop, I know it. But I need someone who has been here before or has some information that can help me, as small as it is.

My natal chart is a little bit extravagant, I think.

Midheaven 29°50' Sagittarius (just 50' away from Capricorn if I'm not mistaken)

Ascendant 29°40' Pisces (so close to Aries!)

and all of my planets together with the moon are gathered in between them - four in Sagittarius (with the Sun), three in Capricorn and the Moon and Saturn in Pisces.

Could someone experienced give me an insight about what it can mean as a whole? It's just that I've seen many people's natal charts and none of them are so... compact. And I am especially interested to know about the Midheaven, since it's in between those two signs.

Please, don't be worried to ask for more details if you do need them.

I am in a serious long distance relationship. We have slightly different interests and the main problem to me is that I don't feel like I can satisfy all his wants and needs. I'm not sure if this relationship is the 100% thing for both of us. I talked to him about it yesterday, but he was (again) unsure of what to reply. I have a hard time explaining my point to him sometimes, he tends to get confused and I feel guilty of it. He's not very good at expressing himself either. While we do get along alright in general, I am a maximalist. I do enjoy just having fun, but my truest desire is that at least communication in my romantic relationship is in complete harmony. My dreams are big and I can't give up on them. But I am concerned for both of us in this matter. Wouldn't it be fair for him, too, to be free to move on and find a better suited woman for himself?

Dear Capricorns, I aspire to your awesomeness. Could you give me some practical tips and/or advices on how to be more like you?

I'm a Sagittarius - I tend to be impractical, messy and unorganized. I seem to be constantly changing my choices and moods. I want to be stable like you - to know what I want to achieve and pursue that, make efforts for it every day. It might be easy for you but it's so hard for me! Theoretically, I know what must be done, but in reality... I just struggle with it helplessly. I really need your help.

Currently I use Nivea BB cream. I just want to ask someone who is competent(!), will BB cream last in bad weather? Say it's raining or snowing outside, so the wind blows the rain/snow onto your face.

Really, it's a funny thing! ;D I don't have crush on this guy, but it just feels a little awkward to call him out of the blue. He lives in another town and such things but I want to ask him if he has come here or if he's going to soon. I'm practically a brave person, so why do I feel this silly "fear" of just calling??? I just sit here and begin to think like this: "Well, if I call him, he might think it's weird. Well, it is weird indeed, but so what? I know who I am! And what do I have to lose? But well... I might get some information about where he is from a friend accidently as well. Should I really bother the lad? Hmmm..." and it goes on for a long time. Really help me somehow with this. I feel like I just need the 'push'. ;D

Need to practice my Finnish. I don't speak a lot of Finnish yet, but I need to try to make at least basic conversations. Please, anwer this question if you're interested. I need a native speaker. Thanks in advance! ♥

Why am I asking this, you wonder? I am a computer addict. Besides, I'm a really active person with lots of interests and aims (I'm a Sagittarius btw, so it's no surprise at all :D). I want to do and achieve many, many, many and many things in my life. For example - I want to learn Norwegian and Finnish, have a band, learn to play some songs on the guitar, write a book + continue writing poetry, also I want to start drawing again, etc.etc. However, there's that little obstacle - whenever I get some free time, like now, during the holidays, and I get LAZY AS HELL and only stare at the monitor ALL DAY!!! ;X In the end of the day, when I go to bed I just feel mad at myself, because my many goals are overwhelming then - but I'm too sleepy and then the next morning - all over again. IT'S BEEN LIKE THAT FOR YEARS NOW! Don't know what to do anymore, I just wish I could throw the PC from my window and get a life! :D Unfortunately, I can't because it's my mom's computer.............. With 2012 on my doorstep I feel I need to make a HUGE change in my life and this is it: no more World of Warcraft and other useless stuff wasting my time! But... how???

When I plug it in my PC and record myself it often sounds horrible! Maybe it's just me sounding a little nasal from time to time and this affects it. But it's a very different story when I plug it in my amplifier! It sounds great!

Why is that?

Hello everyone. I'm a 15 year old girl, going to be 16 soon.

Some friends are asking me what I want for my birthday. Truth is, I don't feel like celebrating myself at all!! I feel like a horrible person and with my birthday coming, I feel even worse! I didn't do anything to deserve presents, in fact I only hurt the people around me all along! For hours I tried to find even one memory of myself being REALLY useful to somebody... and couldn't find anything.

I'm feeling most sad -- when I should be celebrating! I don't want any presents, I just want to get away from myself. I want to change everything, my whole life. Wish I could move to another town where no one would know me... Unfortunately, I cannot. I'm a student and I live with my mother. It's not that I don't love my friends. I really do, though not sure if they like me as much as I do.

Yesterday a friend of our company had a birthday and they made him a surprise party. It was great, I was there, too. But I really doubt they'd do that for me too. Not that I deserve it, though. You see, I'm just kinda new to their company, so...

Overall, I just need your advice guys on how to stop feeling so bad for myself, stuck where I am and not good enough to be celebrated.

Last night I picked my pimples and now they're red and very visible!! I need to get rid of them ASAP (1 day to Halloween, hello??) I don't have any facial makeup to hide them. What should I do? Would an ice cube or lemon juice do the trick or will they just irritate them more?? I don't use any special acne treatment.

They HATE each other! One of them is the teacher I take lessons from. I've been taking classical singing lessons for nearly a year now, but I don't know much music theory. The other one is a new teacher from my school and she has got a choir.

So I told that new teacher of my school I take classical singing lessons and she heard me, she had like... at least ten reproofs for me! Breathing, resonance, etc. She also told me that I could lose my voice!! No one had ever told me that! And, I know I sound good, really good. I don't feel any pain or strain when singing, either. I just don't get it!

I talked with my vocal coach (the other teacher) and she told me not to worry about it, because the technique was developed over a long period of time. She told me that everything would be alright and that my voice is developing really fast and good.

Seriously, I don't know which one to trust!!

How do I know I have the right technique for singing? If my throat is sore after singing, then I'm doing it wrong, don't I? But what if my throat isn't sore and I'm still doing it wrong? I've heard wrong singing technique can ruin your voice.

I'm in between 2 vocal coaches that tell me the exact opposite things. Help!

By this I mean singing not the right way - without the right technique, breathing, something like that. I know I sing good. And I never feel strain when I'm singing. But a music teacher in my school just scared me so much when she said that if I continued to sing like that I'd lose my voice!!!! Idk, maybe it was just that it was morning and I hadn't warmed-up my voice and it was still a bit raspy... but still I'm not that confident about it! She also had many other reproofs for me - I didn't breathe correctly, my resonance wasn't in the right place, I've been singing 'inwards', instead of 'outwards'. She merely tried to explain a few of the things but her explanations were so vague that I just couldn't understand how I should sing ... But I think I know how to breathe correctly (through the diaphragm, of course!) and I just don't get what's so wrong with the way I sing!?
