Hi folks,

I'm entering a period of time into a masked text box using the mask 0:00.000 (m:ss.000). What I need to do is take this time, and display 130% of it in another text box. For example, if I type "1:40.000" (100 seconds) I need the second text box to display "2:10.000" (130 seconds, i.e. 100 seconds +30%).

I'm unsure how to write the code in such a way so that "1:40.000" is correctly interpreted as "100.000 seconds". Can someone point me in the right direction?

I get the feeling that there's a very straightforward solution to this, but I can't find one!

I have a small form (Form2) which contains two text boxes and an OK button. Data entered into these two text boxes will then be used in the main form (Form1). However, the user is currently able to bypass this data entry stage by dragging Form2 to the side of the screen and continuing to work in Form1.

What I would like to do is to configure Form2 in such a way that it acts more like a dialog box, preventing any further activity in the programme until OK has been clicked. To cite an example, in Microsoft Word if you try to close a document without saving, you are asked if you would like to save changes; while this prompt is on the screen, you cannot click into the document in the background and continue working. This is what I want to achieve with Form2.

Hi folks, hopefully this is a straightforward one...

I have a timer that I have set up to count from 30 down to 0, at which point an event occurs. However if a button is clicked by the user while the timer is counting down, I want the timer to return to 30 and count down from there; in other words, reset the timer without stopping the countdown. I'm not sure how to do this, particularly as the button is on a different form to the timer. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Mercedes' new F1 car has been named the MGP-W01. Obviously the MGP stands for Mercedes Grand Prix, but what about the W?

What are the most effective drinks to take while working out? I usually just drink water at the gym, but I've seen people with bottles of Powerade, Lucozade Sport, Club Energize, etc... do these sort of energy drinks really increase stamina or is water just as effective?

Bols? De Kuyper? Cartron? Giffard? I'm about to expand my drinks cabinet, and was wondering which brand of liqueurs I should buy. Are they all "much of a muchness", or does one brand stand out?

I'm entering the 2009 Scally Rally in October, and the rules state that the car cannot cost more than £100. It has to last for four days over 1,000 miles on roads ranging from main A-roads to twisty country roads, and it must have a valid MOT certificate.

I have all of the Oasis singles on CD, except for one - Champagne Supernova! Any idea where I can get my hands on a copy? The 3-track single, not the 2-track promo. The "obvious" answer is eBay, but I can't find any there.
