97 TA, Lt1 engine (5.7 liter). Ran fine the other day got in it the next morn. to go to work and it just kept cranking over. Here's what I've done so far:

1. YES theirs fuel

2. Replaced the fuel filter 4 mos ago, replaced it again today, didn't help.

3. I hear the fuel pump wine when I turn the key on, and wine when I shut it off, (pretty sure its not the fuel pump)

4. Replaced gas cap (old ones seal was all cracked, thought, maybe it wouldn't hurt) Didn't help.

5. Poured Lucas brand gas treatment in the tank Friday.. didn't help.

6. Disconeceted the battery for 20 min, hoping to reset the computer, YOUR RIGHT! Didn't help.

7. Re-connected the battery

8. Tried putting the key in the "ignition / start position" left it for 12 min. came back, Didn't help.

9. Tried spraying starting fluid inside, first couple tries it started to start instead of just crank over (not the starter either, starters fine) but then... Nothing since

10. Battery is fine and fully charged

11. Tried my spare key, thinking the chip was bad, Nothing.

12. I came here to yahoo answers to ask YOU what your opinion my be? I DID buy some new plugs to put in, thinking maybe the plugs are bad???

My daughter and I would like to move from Casper WY. Gillette WY is not an option, Nebraska and Kansas are not options either. We like beaches, warm weather, smaller towns (75,000 population or less) We like the mountains. I own a small business that moves VERY easily. My daughter is 16, Im 39 and single, I've had full custody of my daughter for over 11 years. Leaving the state is not a problem. But where??

I have had a real problem with "having to have control" of just about all aspects of my marriage. Its bad for relationships, I know. I've been like this with all 3 of my marriages. I don't want it to help ruin my 3rd. HOW, do I give up or allow control to be given up? It's not easy for me to even admit this. I DO want to change, I just don't know how to change. You can't just answer, "just change" If I could, I would.. How do I allow myself to be a better husband and friend if I can't figure out how to give up control?

We've been separated for 2 1/2 years, married for 10. We still spend time together etc. Just need to fix myself before MY control issues take control and get me divorced.

Its a 4 banger, and its a saturn, it still over heats! I've replaced the thermostat, the relay switch for the fan was bad, so I replaced that, it doesn't use any antifreeze, its still full, no leaks anywhere under the hood, could the water pump be going out? The oil isn't milky, and it doesn't smoke... Why does it still try and over heat? She turns on the heater when the temp gauge starts to creap up, and the temp goes down.. Could it be the fan motor itself? Maybe an inline fuse to the fan motor? The water pump? Idk, I'm stumped

No holes or leaks in the hoses to or from the radiator, Radiator cap is in good shape, Not leaking out of the bottom (near or around the water pump) No white smoke. Uses about 1/2 a gallon of antifreeze in a week. The fan fuse isn't blown, (it spends easy, and is connected to the Serpentine belt) About the only thing I can think of would be, the thermostat, Any ideas besides the thermostat? No leaks under the truck anywhere. Its like a 2002 - 2005 ford 3/4 ton. (I don't know the year exact, its not my vehicle,)
