Should a Thumler's MP-1 Rock Tumbler automatically shut off and restart multiple times a day?
I recently bought a Thumler's MP-1 Rock Tumbler. Throughout a day of tumbling, it automatically shuts off for 15-20 minutes, then restarts again. It does this on/off several times each day. Is this a normal part of the tumbler's process (i.e. to avoid overheating) or is this unusual? If it isn't supposed to happen, how might I fix the issue? Thanks

A bird built a nest in a hanging flower pot. the baby birds are only just fuzzy and not old enough to fly. They are looking a little pathetic, we think maybe due to extreme sun or exposure to rain (the nest has no cover except for the flowers in the pot).
We would like to move the nest 5-10 feet away to a spot under our porch roof. Would the parent birds abandon the nest if we did this?
