    I didn't grow up chewing gum, but I have started doing it now, in my forties. For others in my situation, do you find yourself accidentally biting the inside of your lip while chewing gum? This happens to me sometimes (including drawing blood), even though I've been chewing food all my life and it never happens then.

  • There was a comedy song that was popular in about 1973...?

    ...where a news announcer asked questions of then-current politicians (Nixon and Agnew come to mind), then a phrase of a song would be played as a funny answer to the questions. One of the songs used as an answer was "Coconut" ("...put the lime in the coconut...") by Harry Nilsson. Does anyone remember the name of the comedy song that I'm describing?

  • Did the Osmonds record "Proud Mary"?

    I could swear that the Osmonds recorded a version of "Proud Mary" in the 1970s, but Wikipedia doesn't list them as one of the bands who covered this song. Maybe they never recorded it, but did it live on a TV show. Does anyone know?
