Ok, so here's the deal, I know how to do a full grid, it's (L + W)! / (L! * W!). However, how would I figure out the number of unique paths if there was one of the lines in the middle of the grid missing?

Would I separate it into sections around the empty space and evaluate and add up all the sections?

Then, how would I do a grid that has one diagonal section?

If a runner is caught stealing to end the game, would the current at-bat count as a batter faced and/or an at bat for the pitcher?

Example: 1st two batters of the inning get out and the 3rd gets a single. 4th batter comes to bat. While the 4th batter is hitting, the runner on first gets thrown out trying to steal second, which ends the game.

Would the pitcher be credited with having 3 batters faced, or 4?

Ok, so the question is, if I were to bury something in my backyard, and 200 years from now it was dug up, what would be the most valuable item 200 years from now that I could by today for $500 or less? Ideas please and thank you :)

Intend on using them next turkey season. I use a Darton compound bow and pull about #55. What's the best target or whatever to shoot them into? Any problems? Any modifications i need to make? Please explain, thanks!
