Hi, im 14 years old and I am addicted to aviation and everything that flys. I have been interested since I was about 5 and am looking to persue a career as a pilot. I am expected to get grades 6-7 in my GCSE'S and I am in the atc and about to join a gliding club to be able to fly solo. I have also used flight Sims for years and am able to fly multiple aircraft unaided. My question is should I apply to the RAF which im interested in doing or stay commercial, and if I get grade 4 GCSE (which is the minimum for RAF and pilot training) will I be able to still become a pilot? If anyone could answer it would be deeply appreciated. Thank you.

I am wanting to join as a pilot in the raf when im older (im 14 now), I am expected to get grades 6/7 in my gcse's but I am not convinced I will. Is there a chance that I can make it as a pilot in the raf and if so how hard is it to become a pilot?

Hi, I am 14 years old and I am massive about everything in the aviation industry. I have been interested since I was about 5 and study aviation in my spare time. My dream is to become a pilot and preferably an RAF pilot in the early years of my career. I am expected to get a grade of 6/7 (B-A) in my GCES, although at the moment I am in set 3 for majority of my classes, and not likely going to get very high grades in my exams. I would like to know, if I got a grade 4 (c), would I likely be able to become an RAF pilot either as a multi-engine, rotary or fighter pilot? I also am in the atc and about to start pilot lessons in gliding to be able to fly solo if I complete, I also have used flight Sims since I was young (Xplane and FSX), and I am able to fly multiple aircraft without any help from startup to landing if this will help at all? If anyone could answer who knows anything about this and the situation im in, it would be greatly appreciated if you could shed some light on my situation, thanks.
