I have been doing a lot of reading about the risks of an epidural and the benefits of a natural birth. The thing is I am scared to death about feeling my lady bits being literally torn apart.

I want to do what is best for my daughter, but an terrified that I will not be able to handle the pain.

Has anyone who has given birth without pain medication have any advice for me?

My baby is still moving, but her movements are not nearly as strong as they were. I have been reading a lot and read on other forums that this seems to be normal. I guess she is just running out of room. The thing is I just can't stop worrying about her. I went for a NST about a month ago when her movements dropped off a bit and everything was fine. I don't want to run back to labor and delivery if there is nothing to worry about.

Anyone else have a change in movement at 30 weeks?

I have a horrible cold and can't breathe... Can I use Afrin nose spray?

I am due on January 12th and last Wednesday I was sitting at my desk and got really dizzy. I went over to our blood pressure machine and my blood pressure was 110/something. I decided to wait until I ate lunch and take it again. After I ate it was 107/something so I called the doctor thinking it was low. I explained that I have been dizzy/lightheaded/fuzzy since about 7:30 that morning and it has not gone away even after I ate. The doctor told me to go to the hospital to get checked out.

Once I got to the hospital they ran all kinds of tests on me and could not figure out why I was so dizzy. They said that your blood pressure drops during pregnancy anyway, so what I read was not that bad. But they were monitoring my blood pressure at the hospital and it got as low as 89/48. They said it was low, but not dangerous and they could not give me anything to raise it because it may hurt the baby. They kept me overnight and also did an ultra sound on my carotid artery and of my heart to make sure my blood was flowing properly. I saw my OB a neurologist and an ear nose and throat doctor. Every test they did came back normal but I am still dizzy. Luckily, the baby is perfectly fine.

It does not matter if I lay down, sit or walk around the dizziness will not go away. This has been going on 5 days now and I have no idea what is going on. When they released me from the hospital they gave me a migraine medicine and told me that it is rare but some pregnant women get migraines, but instead of them being painful, they cause dizziness. Never hear of that and the medicine is not helping. Plus a migraine would not explain the low blood pressure. I just feel like they had no idea what is wrong and just came up with something. It does not make sense to me.

Has anyone else gone through anything similar or have any ideas about what this may be? I go to see my OB tomorrow morning and hoping she can give me some answers. Sorry this post is so long.

I set up my first aquarium on August 2nd and used a starter chemical to cycle it faster so I could put in my fish. Everything was fine and the water was clear. I went on vacation from August 13th to the 21st and put a vacation feeder in the tank while I was gone. When I came home the water was cloudy but I figured it was from the feeder block and I did a 20% water change. Well the water has never cleared up. I did another 20% water change yesterday and the water was still cloudy but a bit better. When I woke up this morning you can barely see the back of the tank. What can I do? I will add some details about my tank....

It is a 36 gallon tank, temp set at 80

I have 7 tiger barbs, 3 mollies, 1 platy, and 1 plecostomus

I tested the water and the ph was about 8 and the ammonia level was a bit high... in the "caution" level on the test directions.

Any help is greatly appreciated!

I have a Betta I keep on my desk at work. I went on vacation and left a co-worker in charge of his care. Unfortunately, when I came back today he was not doing very well. From what I understand when I was gone she overfed him and the water got really nasty. She and one of the supervisors changed the water in his tank without adding a water conditioner and just threw him in the new water without allowing him to get acclimated to the temperature.

Today when I picked him up from her desk his color was dull and he is just staying at the surface breathing constantly. Before I changed the water and added a conditioner he was jumping out of the water.

I have had this fish for almost 2 years and I really care for him. I am scared to death he is going to die. Does anyone know what is wrong with him and if there is anything I can do to help him?

I am happy to be having a daughter but I feel like their are a lot more things to worry about with a girl. Instead of worrying about one boy, now I have to worry about every boy!

I also don't want my 12 year old daughter on Yahoo! Answers asking strangers if she is pregnant!!! I will of course teach her were babies come from (which it seems like many other moms dropped the ball on this one) and teach her to keep her clothes on and legs closed but the thought of her being taken advantage of already infuriates me!

Did anyone else feel this way when they found out they were having a girl?

I just brought a very pregnant dalmatian molly yesterday and today she is not doing very well. She is just sitting at the bottom of the tank and not really moving around. I had her in a breeder net and took her out because I though maybe she wasn't getting enough oxygen but she is still just laying there.

I have her in a 36 gallon tank with a filter, heater (set at about 75) and air pump. I am new to keeping an aquarium so I am really not sure if she is about to drop her babies or die. Any help would be great. Thank you.

I know what a mythical troll is don't get me wrong, but I see a lot of people calling others trolls and I am just wondering why. Maybe I am just too old to understand! LOL!

I am very limited on the maternity clothing stores were I live and am scared to death to order anything on-line because I am short and petites are too short, and regular length is way too long.

Please give me some advice, I am SOOOO frustrated right now!

My whole body is really itchy, not just my expanding stomach and breasts. It's my arms, legs, back, even the palms of my hands! I also get little bumps whenever I scratch the same area for a while. It is driving me absolutely crazy!

I am 13 weeks pregnant and I get sharp pains in my stomach next to my hip bones when I sneeze. It only last a few seconds when it happens, but it is quite uncomfortable. I have read about round ligament pain but nothing says where I should be feeling it.

Just a bit worried and wondering if anyone knows where I should be feeling the pain or if these pains are not normal.

I noticed when my guy and I were having sex that I had this really thick white discharge. It happens every once in a while and it really embarrasses me when it does happen. Is this normal and is there anything I can do to stop it?

I am concerned about my ability to conceive. I have very irregular periods and am not convinced I am ovulating. I started taking Vitex 2 days ago and am wondering if anyone else has used it with any luck. If so how long after you started did you get pregnant?
