I quickly downloaded Safari version 5.1 without reading thoroughly what I was installing. Since then, this Mac has not acted the same and has erratic behavior. I have tried to reinstall 4.1.0 (if that is it) and it tells me I can't install 4.1 since a later version has already been downloaded. Now, I am getting notices to install another update for version 5.1. Is this something I want to do, or would I be better off going back to the old program? If going back to the old version, how do I do it? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I can receive emails with pictures (images), but, when I send the email out, the recipients tell me they can't get the images. This is a new problem and even the on line tech from Yahoo had no answer for this problem. Any suggestions to correct this would be appreciated. Thanks!

I am unable to to delete other email addresses by hitting forward. I have to hit reply. However, if the email contains pictures, they don't show up when sent. The only way to send emails with pictures is to hit forward and then all the other addresses remain on the email. People have to scroll down forever before reading the email. Any suggestions?

If I click on the envelope, it goes away, only to pop back up later. Also, it doesn't pop up on the desk top to show that I have new messages and I have no sound, either, when emails are sent to me. What do I do to fix it?

For the last 3 days when I try to download an attachment to an email, a message comes up saying Windows media player cannot play the file. The player might not support the file type or might not support the codec that was used to compress the file. I have NEVER had this happen until now and it is with every email I receive, and, from different people. What do I do to correct this and how do I know which codec to install? Why has this happened now and not before? Did somebody change something or is my computer ready for the dumpster? Please help. I am exhausted from trying to figure out what I know nothing about in the first place! Thanks.

At one time the mail envelope showed that I had mail. It doesn't anymore. I have to go to the inbox to see if I have mail, and I usually do.

When I try to send mulitiple emails with the inserted address bar, they won't send. At one time it did, but would only show one person on the list from the address list. Is that normal? Why won't it send at all, now?

I deleted all emails from folders because computer was too slow. Now I want them back. I understand they are in the re-cycle bin, but how do I navigate it to retrieve them, or can it be done?

How do I remove"unread message"? I actually have 3 in the same folder that say this.
