I'm a student very much into astronomy, and specifically extrasolar planets. I've created a forum, it's rather new, so it's not quite all great yet, but you can find it at www.solar-flux.forum andco.com. (combine the two) Go ahead and sign up if you want and make a free account. It'll be a place where we can come together to discuss extrasolar planets. For the record, I'm not a witch, satanist or anything like that, but rather a God-worshiping Christian. My Myspace is www.myspace.com/ comradebetty When it asks for your last name, tell it "Soviet". And do send a message stating you're from Y! Answers, so I know it isn't just some idiot trying to add me. And I eat Moon-Hoax Conspiracy Theorists and 2012 Hoaxists for breakfast =D
Integration question?
Here's a problem in a Cal AB review I have.

(lots of pretty images... can't draw those too well with ASCII art =p)
I'm fairly certain the answer is not C, for C is dealing with differentiation.
I also don't think that the integration will be done with respect to x, for integration finds the area *under* the curve, as opposed to above it. If we think of this as f(y), then the shaded region can be considered "below" the curve.
As such, I'm fairly sure the answer is A. However, it doesn't seem to account for the missing shading from f(0) to f(a).
Any advice?

... LOL? Seriously, I answer a few questions and then it stops taking my answers saying "We're taking a breather". It's been doing this daily for weeks.
Get a freaking inhaler!
And while you're at it, STFU about my "spelling mistakes", I know how to spell "lol" and "stfu", and I know it can be perceived as shouting...
argh... those little alert boxes on the right side of the screen agitate me, lol.
10 AnswersYahoo Answers1 decade agoIE7 acts odd after virus attack.?
I know, I know, but please, just listen.
My computer was attacked a few weeks ago. I ran McAffe (my current anti-virus), found and destroyed the Trojan. My attempts to run IE7 are unsuccessful, saying that navigation has been blocked due to a virus threat. How do I tell IE7 to rest easy?
1 AnswerSecurity1 decade agoIntelligence-meter for 2012 propaganda?
Okay, first and foremost, I acknowledge that the 2012 scare is a load of crap, just like the 2000 scare. As you all remember, January 1, 2000 was notable as the day the world failed to end. Such will be so for January 1, 2013.
Anyway, a basic question I have. And I suppose it defeats the purpose, as I'm trying to find what the logic is behind this, and it's fact that there is none, so I think I may be wasting 10 points.
Question:
If the world is ending in 2012, why does the History Channel always talk about it? Isn't the History Channel about History?
They should make a "Future Channel" o_O =D
