  • Tenancy agreements, windows unlocked but no keys provided...?

    Hi!

    I've slowly come to realise my letting agent is completely incompetent.

    Amongst other things, all the windows are unlocked and no keys have been provided despite numerous requests (asked about 5 times, moved in at the end of December!).

    I have insurance but obviously this is compromised if my windows are unlocked.

    What can I do? Is there any law that requires landlords to ensure the property is safe and secure within their control etc?

  • Where can I dispose of plastic bags?

    Has anyone else been watching the series "Dumped" on Channel 4? I'm pretty good when it comes to recycling, but I have this vast collection of plastic carrier bags from various stores. Where can I take them where they wont get landfilled?
