How much should I worry about a dog bite?
Hi,
Earlier today, I was going about my usual work when I accidentally stepped on a stray dog's tail, and it jumped up and bit my finger. The bite caused a small tear on my skin of my finger and very minor bleeding which stopped almost immediately. The bite was quite dry as there was no contact of saliva from the dog's mouth. The dog, although of a stray variety was apparently someone's pet as he had a dog tag. His behaviour was completely normal and the reason he bit me was because of provocation.
Despite this, I am worried because I live in India and generally, owners of stray dogs are poor and cannot afford to visit a vet. However, the dog looked healthy and behaved normally, albeit being aggressive and irritable. Approximately 5-10 minutes following the bite, I washed the affected site with antiseptic soap and water. Should I still be worried and go to a doctor?

Is it possible for a spacecraft/shuttle/any other vehicle moving through space to change course without using gravitational catapulting? I know there's no other medium in space for it to be possible, but I'm just curious.
3 AnswersAstronomy & Space9 years agoFace heats up before sleeping?
While I'm lying in my bed, my face, particularly my ears, heat up considerably. So much that I find it difficult to sleep since it's extremely distracting. Even using a cold cloth to cool my ears down is effective only for few seconds since the cloth itself becomes warm after that. What could possibly be the cause, and how can I prevent this? P.S.: This happens only in cold weather.
1 AnswerOther - General Health Care9 years agoHow to use your "Diaphragm" for vocals?
I know this has been a common question, but I cannot seem to get the hang of it. I am a beginner Extreme Metal vocalist, and practice occasionally. The problem is, I don't "get" how NOT to use my throat to push out my voice, and risk damaging my vocal chords. I always end up using my throat, since I have no idea how to use my diaphragm instead. What exactly is the correct technique? I tried vocalizing while breathing out, but I still end up straining my throat in the process.
1 AnswerRock and Pop9 years agoMusic theory for absolute beginners?
I do not play any musical instrument, but am an avid music listener, and often come up with rather good ideas and melodies in my head. I have Guitar Pro on my computer, through which I try to experiment and learn as much as I can about music, and compose my own stuff. What really confuses me is almost all of music theory starting from the concept of "Scales" and "Chords", and I believe they're the very base of composing music. It'd be nice if someone could link me to an online lesson about them, intended for a complete beginner, since each and every one I found till now was either lacking details, or filled to the brim with jargon. I need to know about this so I know how exactly to compose what I have in my head.
2 AnswersClassical10 years agoChanging places causes a noticeable drop in stamina?
I live away from home for studies. While at the hostel, I work out regularly under guidance from trainers, and can run/exercise for 40-60 minutes straight. But when I return home, I find it hard to run even for 5 minutes. What are the possible reasons?
