I am currently in 7th sem (India) doing Bachelor of Engineering (Electronics and communication). I would like to take up GRE to pursue Masters in Computer Science. There are a lot of computer related courses in electronics in my degree like 1.Microprocessors 2. Microcontrollers 3. Network Security 4. Embedded Systems 4. Real time operating systems 4. Computer Networks 4. C 5. Linear Algebra. Apart from these I have done courses on C++ ,Data structures, Java from NIIT.

Now my question is does having my bachelors in electronics increase my chances of rejection ?

Also does 1 year job experience in IT industry help?

I am also thinking of doing cisco certifications. Now with those in my hands will it increase my chances?

I am also ready to study cs subjects like compilers discrete maths etc on my own( ofcourse i would not have any certificates for them).

Please do give me suggestions and help me since I have a great interest in computer science and it means a great deal to me.

The website mentions about an unlimited plan for Rs750 giving speeds upto 3.1mbps. Now what is not mentioned is if at all there is a cap on download i.e say after 5gB the speed drops.Can someone having this connection or having information about this clarify this to me. i am considering this since although tata photon rel etc offer unlimited service but there is a speed reduction after certain download limit.
