My husband and I have tried for years now to help his family(namely his parents) understand that we are our own people and we can take care of ourselves and our children. They have tried to destroy our marriage, tried to turn our children against us, keep contacting us after we've asked them several times in all sorts of ways not to. We've had to secretly move out of state to keep them from following us around town. Enough is enough. How do we get the message across to them: Leave us alone and live your own lives! They have even tried getting information from our kids' doctors, stalking me online, and have run our names down in public. They have too many "friends" in the justice system, so legally changing our names didn't work, they found out about it. We are now filing harrassment charges, but we want it publicly known that we don't want anything to do with them and we are not family. Any suggestions? True stories? Advice? Thank you for reading.
